I will be picking this one up for sure, I didn't catch it at the cineplex. And no jokes that I wasn't the only one who didn't, I know this one tanked at the box office.

Since the R version was said to be practically nudity and sex free with the explicit material shown in the 'unrated trailer' available on the internet missing. I avoided the R version at all costs, and will be curious to see what the unrated version is like. And if the film is any good trashy fun or not.

I didn't bother with the film in the theatres, as I knew the unrated DVD would be more explicit, and probably better. I can't imagine this movie being that much worse than the original. They're both likely to be "so bad they're good" films.

I saw this when it was in cinemas and thought it was OK. I saw the French dubbed version, and don't know if I really want to pay for the DVD to see it in its original language version. Does anyone know if the theatrical version that played in France/Europe was longer than the "R" version in the US? If so, I guess it will be the same as the unrated DVD... but it probably wasn't the longer one, as it was only rated a "12" in France anyway, and I didn't think there was anything too explicit in it -
Spoiler:
the "big" sex scene between Stone & Morrissey was actually really short.

wait, the online promo had alot of stuff that isn't in the movie? (i did think that some of it was explicit, but not to a point where they cut it out)

the threesome floating around as mpeg-file on the net was also cut from the European version - maybe re-integrated in the unrated version ?

you also could read in various interviews of director and star that lots of sex scenes had been filmed which haven't been used for the film.

Not sure if that really would have helped as the film sucked. Boring and toothless. Not as 'radical' and explicit as the Verhoeven flick back in 1991.

I saw it. It's no where near as bad as the reviews. I think everyone just has it in for Stone. Like the one poster said above, the first one is definitely a "so bad it's good" film. The sequel is o.k. Not great. Slow in parts. And a little boring. I think the unedited version might make it as great as the original. Again, in good trashy fun way. And Stone looks terrific.

VOODOO1194, the forum has a rule against threadcrapping. If you aren't interested in the movie, please don't post in the thread.

You gotta trust Mao my man.

He's my opposite in the Talk Forum.

As I liken myself as Deep Throat in the Bargain Forum, Mao is like Harry Lime in the Talk Forum....

It's not safe for us to reveal our sources!

THat's what I'm looking for..... a "so bad it's GOOD" film.

I missed it in theaters because of too much work in real life.

Ok, I saw it the other day with about 6 people in the theater. The movie was ok in parts, boring in others. Check it out at your local dollar theater, if you must see it, or wait til July 2nd to rent it. I agree with others, that the unrated version might be better. I also agree that Stone looked great. I think she had a face lift, because her skin was too smoothe for her age and the fact that she's a smoker ( doesn't smoking make you age ). Her breast job wasn't that great, her right areola is much higher than her left. She's still MILFy to me though.

I'd like to see that quoted on the DVD cover!
