Now this is a show I wouldn't mind having. Watch out for the black and white!

Anyone remember the bit when the actors in the precinct froze in laughter during the end credit? Cracked me up when only the chimp on the desk was still animated.

This set will definitely grace my dvd shelf.

I think I saw one episode of this like 10 years ago and the show was really funny. I hope this comes and I'll buy it!

It's Paramount, don't hold your breath.

Although, they have gotten much better lately.

"We went to one of those all-night wicker stores..."
"We would've been here sooner, but your husband wasn't dead yet..."
"Look out he's got a knife! Look out he's got a gun! Look out he's got a signed Picasso! Look out he's got Herpes!"

Finally, now we'll get to see Frank, Mr. Olsen and Jimmy all over again! I've always said that because VCRs weren't prevalent in households in 1982 when this came on, it just threw a lot at viewers and they never had a chance to catch up.

I believe they did that at the end of every episode.

They did. I liked the one where the froze while one of them was pouring coffee and the coffee kept on pouring out of the pot and out of the cup and all over the actor's hand, and he couldn't do anything about it but his eyes kept on looking down at the spilling coffee. Funny stuff!

That will be a good replacement for my old, fuzzy, recorded-off-TV VHS tapes I've had for years. Since there were only 6 episodes, they should fit nicely on a single-disc.

Now... if Paramount will put out the 12 episodes of Mel Brooks "When Things Were Rotten", I'll be a "happier" camper (also have those on old, fuzzy, recorded-off-TV VHS tapes)
