Really?! Superbit Rollerball? Do we really need that? That's the best they could do?

Glad to see Mad max on there.

Rollerball 2002 Superbit? Hell has frozen over! The movie blows badly...and the editing is the worst I have ever seen.

Mad Max Superbit

Hahaha. Oy. I know there are many great titles in the collection...but I seriously do think that they're going out of their way to slowly but surely include every horrible film known to man. Perhaps the "Superbit" connotation is the only way they think they can sell these films on DVD?

So apparently Superbit hasn't been mothballed.

By the way, these will be released under the SONY banner? On the box, I mean. Are these former MGM films?

mmmm, Mad Max Superbit.

Although what's the reasoning for the Superbit on Mad Max? It's kinda grainy as it is anyways, and there's no hi-fi audio to be had.

Don't get me wrong tho, I love Mad Max... how about a good release of Road Warrior, anyone?

If this is the 80's claymation movie, I'm all over it.. I remember seeing it back in grade school, and thought it was awesome. Of course, I thought Garbage Pail Kids: The Movie was awesome back then too, but I'll probably pick it up on the cheap regardless.

Yep, Rollerball 2002 is MGM. Sony has bought MGM's catalog, so there you go. I'm just curious if it will be "Sony" or "MGM" or what. I thought nothing will released under the MGM banner anymore.

CRAP! At first I didn't notice the "(2002)" after Rollerball. I was pretty excited for a second or two.

Mad Max Superbit? Why? The release that's out now looks great, and has lots of features. I don't think I'll be trading that in for a stripped down disc anytime soon.

Wonder which version of the 2002 Rollerball they'll release? The PG-13 theatrical cut or the R-rated DVD version. The previous version had both a widescreen and a fullframe release squeezed on the same release along with some extras. It would be nice to get a superbit release, but I'd hate to lose the commentary.
