This is 26 of the first 27 episodes of SEASON 1 which was 36 episodes. Home for Christmas is missing because they are releasing it on The Beverly Hillbillies/Petticoat Junction Christmas Collection due October 25. I guess I'm getting this set as I love the B/W episodes.

We were able to dig up some information on the set, thanks to reader Bob Huggins, and it's not Paramount that's releasing the show, it's MPI Home Video. They're also responsible for the upcoming Petticoat Junction DVD set coming in August 30.

The Beverly Hillbillies, The Ultimate Collection, a 4 disc set containing 26 episodes, will be released on September 27. We have the box copy, disc contents and extras from MPI listed below (we hope to have artwork soon). This is the first time that authorized (non-public domain) episodes have been made available.

No idea, but the set does say Volume 1.....
