Joan of Arcadia Season 1 --> $5.50 at walmart B&M (YMMV, probably price mistake)

I went into my local walmart today in Simi Valley, California to purchase "Phantom of the Opera" and I happend to glance into the $5.50 bin and saw several copies of "Joan of Arcadia Season 1" in there. I knew the price was too good to be true, but I picked one up anyway. I went to the self checkout and it rang up $5.50.

I don't know if this was a fluke in my store or what, thought you guys might want to know...

I'll check my local wallies on the way home, and let you know, I am in MD by the way. Did it have any stickers on it at all? did it say 5.50 on it? or DB (for dump bin)?

There was a different UPC Code Sticker ontop of the UPC and then there was another White Sticker on it that said January 2005 followed by a bunch of numbers (i don't know what they are because I threw the packaging away)

Critter, we must live fairly close to each other. I shop at that Wal-mart all the time. I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

We should be friends. We like the same shows and everything!

I just got back from Wal-Mart (no life) and Joan of Arcadia was regular price.

It's a crying shame... Or, not actually.

I went to Wal Mart about three hours ago on my way home from school again and they didn't have any more in the bin, they were on the shelf marked $45.99. Sorry, I should have grabbed them all earlier this Morning.

I checked mine on the way home as well, no luck, on the shelf as 44.96 I believe. Never hurts to check, though. Thanks.......for posting your find.
Also, smart move going to self checkout, a cashier might have questioned it, (but then again maybe not, some of them at the walmarts are pretty clueless.)
I got returner (the anime movie) for 5.50 the same way a year back......It even had a grumpy old men sticker on it, (no i didnt do it and it was in the dump bin), but hey it was stickered 5.50, so who am I to argue.

Visited 3 Wal-Marts last night, and none of them had dropped the ball and mispriced it. I did however, find a misprice on LOTR Return of the King EE for $7.99, so it made me feel less bad about running all over the place for a good deal.

Not at mine but they did have Three's Company Season 1 in there for 5.50, it is one disc but it has a sticker save 10 dollars on 2 seasons.
