Wow what a great episode, one of their best episodes ever. Funny as hell, a full 30 minutes, classic drama. i almost felt sad that next week they are going back to LA.

I was just looking on IMDB and it shows that Turtle and Drama were in 43 episodes and Vince and E are only in 42. What show were they not in?

Don't forget Aquaman. Amazingly, the folks at MSNBC last week put out their list of the "Top Ten Superhero Movie Scenes" and Aquaman running towards the wave was #7, even though the movie doesn't really exist. At first I thought that was a pretty bad inclusion, but they make a fairly compelling point. In any case, that's high praise indeed for a sitcom.

Billy is going to give Ari a run for his money as the reason to watch this show.

Id love to see something like "Queens Blvd." or "Medellin" in theaters..
So would I.

Billy Walsh is quickly becoming my favorite director.

Anyways, great episode. Glad to see the show back. I expected more episodes to be on location shooting, but I'm ok with them going back to LA.

That's funny, I've always thought the exact opposite. The movie looked farcical to me.

That's the way I see it. The movie looked like a total joke, but that's what makes it all funny.

I agree with you 100%, I too thought that was what was intended.

this episode, i like it but not loved it

Sofia Vergara is probably the best known Columbian hottie in the world, Tom Cruise has apparently dipped his end in her (pre katie)

I've been a fan of her long long before she started showing up in Hollywood

Check out Four Brothers with, of all people, Mark Wahlberg. She had a pretty good role in that one as well.

This episode was chock full of classic moments. My personal favorite: when Billy attacks the DP and throws him on the hood of the car, screaming, "it looks like there's cum on the lens!" Then it cuts to the fired cinematographer in the back of a pickup truck with a neck brace on rubbing his fingers together and smiling, knowing how much money he'll get in the lawsuit.

/\ This makes me think that Billy Walsh is supposed to be a composite character of both P.T. Anderson and David Russell. Both are known for pulling similar kinds of stunts on set.

I agree. The documentary gimmick is hackneyed and hard to endure. I think this was probably the weakest episode of the show.

I wouldn't want to see the documentary format every week, but as a single episode, it was fun.

I do wonder if there's ever been a "making of" documentary in the history of film that included commentary from the lead actor's agent.

An episode without Ari berating Lloyd is always lacking.

I dunno, every time I see Vince "acting" it's like chewing on tin foil. His "acting" in his new movie especially sucked. His Spanish accent was atrocious. The only thing he has going for him is the pretty boy look so iIdon't think they would hide their only asset under such a bad make up job.

I thought this episode was great, but my fiance - a HUGE Entourage fan, didn't like it at all.
