Satellite Party - Ultra Payloaded
So I'm listening to this at the moment...
Interesting stuff. Sometimes Farrell seems to channel classic Jane's-style rock, but then there are the weird, heavily Doors-inspired two final songs (especially the final one, "Woman in the Window").
What're all y'all's thoughts?

I would hope the last track sounds like the doors, since they used Jim Morrison's vocals. For the most part I like the album, only 2 tracks I don't really care for...

It's funny because I was thinking that it sounded like Perry Farrell trying out a lower register. Also, I didn't think the lyrics were that good...

What really sucks is that PF went on the Stern show and tried to pass off "Wish Upon A Dogstar" as a new tune, and didn't mention one time that it's an exact rehash of the tune he recorded 2 years ago! He said it was a tune from this new band of his and hoped nobody would notice. What a joke!
