My friend keeps telling me he's heard GameStop is opening a DVD store, MovieStop.

Gamestop still takes DVD's?

The ones here haven't done that for at least a year and a half.


I'm more pissed they only did CD's for a limited time. I got some damn fine deals when they did that.

In some areas they did.

Now if they just open a few on Long Island (they could convert at least one of the Smithhaven Mall stores or one of the Shirley stores).

I got a few DVDs when they marked it down to 75% off a few weeks ago but I cleaned up often in the past when it came to wrestling DVDs.

There was something about wrestling DVDs just made the employees want to slap a generic $1.99 tag on them and I made quite a few additions to my collection that way (best $1.99 deal was getting the Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior collector's edition that was going for $40-70 on eBay)

One of the gamestops in my area stopped selling used dvd's a while ago. The other one still does as far as I know. Havent been there in at least 4 months. Been getting most of my used stuff at fye lately. They have some decent sales at my local store.
