So 13.99 is the price for the 2-disc Casino Royale? Sorry to sound stupid, I wasn't sure if you meant theres only one version at CC, or one version everywhere.

There is no 1-disc version of Casino Royale. There is only a 2 disc set available in widescreen and foolscreen.
At $13.99, I'm all over it like white on rice!

For those of you who can are interested in getting GOW 2 next Tuesday and can get there around 2 PM, go for it. As long as they have the guarantee like they had this week with GTA: LCS for PS2. I went into Circuit City at 1:58 PM and looked around for it and then asked for it, they go scrambling around look in the computer and said "We don't have any in stock". Ok, no problem I go to the customer service desk and tell them that they don't have any in stock and got a $20 gift card. Every CC I've been to in MD is so unorganized and if you try to go find something on a Tuesday morning, chances are unless it's a huge release, you're not going to find it. I'm glad Best Buy is only a few minutes away.

CC laptop
First post, though I've been lurking in this forum for a while.
Great job with the ads speedy. I now find myself in the market for a new laptop to play my dvd's on. The one in the original post says dv9205us for $749 - $50 rebate. This laptop is currently $1099 - $50 rebate at CC.com
Is this a typo? If not, then I know where my next laptop is coming from.
Any info would be appreciated.

Great price on Casino Royale, kinda disappointed in the God of War 2 price though (despite the rave reviews, I think $50 is a bit high for a last-gen game).

So for the 2 PM $20 GC deal, do you HAVE to be there at 2 PM?
I got to my local CC at 8 PM EST and they didn't have any of the GTA: Vice City Stories, so I asked for the $20 GC. Eventually they gave it to me, but they said in the future I have to be there at 2 PM. They didn't get it in at all, it wasn't like they sold out - so even if I had been there earlier, they wouldn't have had it. It was kinda odd logic, imo. You'd think they'd thank me for giving them an additional six hours to go buy it.

Definitely odd... CC can be good and bad, if you're using those scanned coupons, most of the times, they are good
If you're looking for something particular, most of the times, they are bad
It's a hit or miss, it would be a great deal if you can get the $20 GC

I remember looking for Creepshow 2: SE the morning it came out (around 11 AM) and I was there for about half an hour trying to find it, have the guy look in the computer, look in boxes, get on internet, asking a bunch of people and he finally finds they get in TWO copies. I'll go there next week to get Casino Royale since it's a major release and I won't have to pull any teeth, plus it will be free (with my $20 gift card because they can't get their shi@ straight).

OK, I just looked at my CC ad, and the way I read it, it says:
PSP Movies
Buy one get one free
hThen $9.99 each
That totally could be interpreted that all those umd's are $9.99 then b1g1. So, basically $5 each. I am going right now to load up.
Edit : I just got out of cc with 14 -UMds for $70 + tax

Amazon has a gold box special going on right now for the Ultimate Edition James Bond sets, all for $125.00. This beats Circuits City's price, and even the low price folks are paying per set at Costco (if you do not need all four sets, the Costco deal is still the best).
I just received the Seinfeld Season 1-7 bundle I purchased from Amazon last week for only $99.99 (that bundle and the Bond deal today tells me that maybe Amazon really is listening to what people want to see as the occasional gold box deal), and the bundle was in perfect condition, so I heartily recommend the Bond deal.
