At my circuit city here in Vermont I got Titanic SE for only $4.99! It was in the $4.99 bin, and the sign with the list had it at $4.99 but it rang up at $9.99. The mgr checked it, and gave it to me for $4.99. Who Framed Roger Rabbitt was also in the $4.99 one but I have it already.

Worth checking. Great deal!

Thanks speedy, as always!

The Amazon link shows the new artwork but describes the releases as being only 1 disc. Am I correct in assuming that these are the films only and not the 2-disc special editions from the box set?

Had a similar exp. at my local CC. Some of the titles listed as $9.99 in the ad and in Speedy's post were available for $4.99 at the CC in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Not sure if this is a YMMV as the titles rang up as $9.99 for me, but there was a large box with a "50% off" and a list of the available $4.99 DVDs, including:

The Lake House
Casanova
Legally Blonde / Legally Blonde 2
Walk The Line
Date Movie: Unrated
Match Point
Rumor Has It
She’s The Man
The 40 Year Old Virgin: Unrated
Braveheart (1st Pressing)
The Notebook
Sweet Home Alabama
Tristan + Isolde
Cheaper By The Dozen 2
Pride & Prejudice (2005)
Pretty Woman: 15th Anniversary Special Edition
Chocolat
Splash (Looks like 1st Pressing)
Yours, Mine & Ours (Quaid / Russo)
Sixteen Candles (May Be 1st Pressing)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (Looks Like 1st Pressing)
Chasing Amy: Criterion Collection
Beaches: Special Edition

Picked up Tristan, Braveheart, Chocolat and Virgin for $4.99 each. The cashier over-rode the price because the discs listed above were clearly listed as $4.99 each on the box.

Worth checking out.

Thanks, Speedy. Now I don't feel bad about getting the ultimate box sets for about $35 each in cash & trades (although I don't care for the last 4 Moore films & a couple of the Brosnans, I like all of the rest). Still might check out some of the other deals you listed.

And thanks for all the hard work posting the CC, BB, & Target ads each week.
Much appreciated by all, I'm sure.

Anyone pic this up from CC? How big is the poster and whats it of?

Get this from BB? How big are the figures, what are they of and how detailed are they?

Thanks

The print ad states if you buy 2 or more of the new Bond singles they are $7.99 each, but they had to do a manual override this morning to get the $2 off on just two of the discs. The cashier told me, "it's if you buy more than 2", and I tried to explain 2 or more means what it means....sigh....

I wonder how many times this scenario was played out by those of us buying Goldfinger and Thunderball today!
