Although the ad does not state as such, I would say that it is. It has not surfaced in any of other major ads for that week.

I always transpose the ad terminolgy verbatim and the ad for American Dad simply states what I wrote.

Would I say that it is collectible? Probably to some degree (especially to the rabid Family Guy fan base....hi Rogue588!)

Do they advertise any HD-DVD titles in this ad? I'm sure they won't have any on sale, but just curious to see if they show Apollo 13 and Doom in it.

They did last week but none are present this week.

Last week's ad had Last Samurai, Phantom of the Opera and 1 other. I listed the info unb the store notes at the begining of the post where I list any potential deals or info.

Match Point and FFVII for me. Any maneuvers so I can get a good price on Shopgirl? Both BB and CC have a deal when you buy it with Casanova, but I really don't want that.

Oh, also, I went to my local BB recently and at the checkout there were coupons for a Free $10 Gift Card for every $100 you spend (up to a $50 gift card). It's a mother's day coupon, blue and yellow, long horizontally. But it's valid starting on the April 30th until May 13th. Just thought I'd mention it, if anyone's planning on buying something big soon. (lots of exceptions unfortunately, I'll post if someone wants me to)

I understand but if you want Claire Danes, you'll have to pay for her.

Nothing else is showing up on the areas of interest I peruse.

Has anyone else in the DFW area not received a Best Buy ad in the Dallas Morning News for the past 2-3 weeks?

I've been consistently receiving the Best Buy ads. Now Circuit City is another matter.

Same here -- consistently Best Buy BUT for several months no CC. Used to get CC, and did get one FINALLY last week, but that was the first in months. This week, back to no CC.

I don't even get a Best Buy circular in the Sunday Paper, did they stop advertising? I get Circuit City, but nothing from them.

That's why I appreciate these threads from Speedy, thanks.

If it were me. I would check with your local paper to see if BB is advertsing with them.

In my area, one paper gets BB and CC while the competitor gets Target, BB and sometimes CC.

Nope, it's not. Saw it listed via the little sticker on the sets at Target this morning.

I'm happy to say that the Family Guy bonus disc with American turned out to not be a Best Buy exclusive. Not too impressed with the prices on this set ($25 upwards for half a season) I decided to check out Strawberries and they had it with the Family Guy bonus disc for $27.99 and a $10 MIR, which makes it about $20 once you factor in sales tax and the postage stamp for the MIR.
