I fully realize both of these are bad movies but I'm still waiting for the Wizard with Fred Savage and Sidekicks with the late Jonathan Brandis.

Although it's a difficult subject to search for, there have been literally hundreds of threads on this subject. Here's the latest:

All movies should be on DVD. Somewhere, there's someone who wants them.

Most of the films I post in these threads have been released or announced (can't wait for Cloak & Dagger and The Rapture!) but I'm still waiting for Cry-Baby.

Check the main DVD Talk forum, as I just listed information about this title seeing a release next year.

I'd also like to see Kieslowski's The Double Life of Véronique and Patrice Leconte's The Girl On The Bridge have a R1 release. For a few more off the top of my head:

Un Coeur En Hiver
A Pure Formality
Lovers Of The Artic Circle
La Ardilla Roja
Delicatessen
Kiss Or Kill
Twelfth Night
Enchanted April
L'Appartement
Monsieur Hire
Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead
The Baby Of Macon
Lost Highway
Mrs. Parker And The Vicious Circle
Several Almodóvar titles

Some not so esteemed titles:

Oxford Blues
Pyrates
Worth Winning
The Whoopee Boys

Another vote for Friday the 13th The Series- only with the origional cast though. I would also like to have Waterloo starring Rod Stieger ( spelling ) as Napoleon.

I can't believe I forgot that one! I love that movie.

Now I know what I'll be posting in these threads after Cry-Baby comes out.

If you are a serious movie collector, you really should get a region-free player, because a lot of stuff is out there on DVD (included these 2) just not in Region 1.

I could also get a recorder.

I thought my last dvd player would play all regions, but it doesn't. My computer does play all regions, but who wants to watch a movie on a laptop. Anyway, the other regions never have 'extras' on the dvd's and I already have the movies on VHS, so I can wait for the region 1 versions. After all, my list keeps getting smaller all the time.

I do have an aficionado list, but the site only will display up to 2,000 titles. But if you're curious, here it is:

Thank god Cloak and Dagger is finally coming out. Even though it's most likely barebones.
