New Disney Theatrical Short: Goofy in How to Hook Up Your Home Theater

“Wait a minute. This looks like an old How To… film from the forties, but wait a minute, it can’t be because it deals with plasma TV, cable, subwoofers and surround sound”. So that’s the idea: he wants the whole look, the whole thing, just like the old How To… shorts.

I've always loved Goofy's old How to... shorts. Hopefully they use the old style animation they used to instead of the shiny straight-to-video style we see too much of today.
Listening to Goofy's "Ya-hoo-hoo-hoo-wee!" scream on the big screen will be great.

I think these shorts as well as other things like 3D will get me into the theatres for flicks that I would otherwise not think about seeing in theatres.

This sounds Great! I grew up on Goofy (some just say i grew to be a goof) I loved Goof Troop.
the only kid in High School that probally liked it.
I wish they would release seasons one & two on DVD. A goofy movie was fricken great, I think i must have watched it 30 times.
The more Goofy the better! thats what I say.
This should be funny and Disney lets see some DVD release's.

I've got my two year old daughter hooked on the Treasures tins, all the classic animated stuff. She LOVES Goofy... and Pluto.

The Goofy Movie was awesome. Great songs and a great story. The Extremely Goofy Movie however, absolutely sucked.
My dream Disney movie would be a story of how all the gang met and not in some fantasy world like the Mouseketters Movie. I want something akin to The Muppet Movie but with the Disney characters. Now that would rock!

Yeah...I won't be seeing Enchanted, no matter what they tack on to it.
In agreement. I love Goofy too death but there is no way in hell I would watch Enchanted. Like I said in my previous post, I hope they release the TV show on DVD & include this as a bonus feature.

Don't get the hate for Enchanted already. I thought it looked cute. Basically Elf but with a Disney Princess. The girls will enjoy going and if Goofy is there, double bonus. I enjoyed the classic short in front of Meet the Robinsons and I hope this trend continues.
