From: Grounded in reality. For the most part.
If Chins Could Kill -- Bruce Campbell
Lost Light -- Michael Connelly
Blood and Bone -- Austin S. Camacho
The Fixer -- Jon Merz

The above 4 are personalized to me. I met all of the authors except for Connelly. I owe a dinner to the person who got Lost Light signed for me.

I also have

The Midnight Tour -- Richard Laymon

I picked it up at a book sale for a buck and it turned out to be one of the limited Cemetary Dance publications.

If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor personalized by Bruce Campbell.

Naked Pictures of Famous People - John Stewart (signed "Brent, nice last name", which is also...Stewart. der.)

TONS of comic collections I get signed at conventions. I also have the 'DC Comics" hardcover, and I collect signatures in that as well. My favorite in that one is a large bold inscription by Mart Nodell, creator of the original Green Lantern, and also a really nice Batman sketch inside the back cover by Brian Stelfreeze.

Swamp Foetus by Poppy Z. Brite (Ltd. HC of 350)
Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite (Dell HC, 1st Pr)

Those are probably the most famous, but I have dozens of autographed books, lots of them limited edition small press pieces.

Still haven't gotten a Stephen King signature. Yet.

The Four Donkeys - Lloyd Alexander (wrote the Prydain Chronicles)
Good Omens (British 1st) - Neil Gaiman
The Golden Witchbreed (British 1st) - Mary Gentle
The Wolf's Hour - Robert McCammon

There are probably a few I'm forgetting, but those come readily to mind. I came across them all at second hand stores for mega cheap, with the exception of Good Omens... that one I got signed personally. Neil kicks ass. He signed stacks of comics for me on more than one occasion, and never complained. I'm glad to see him writing books now.

Edited to add; Exit Wounds - Shaun Hutson (not to be confused with the Steven Seagal movie, blech!)

Great Balls of Fire: Uncensored Story of Jerry Lee Lewis by Murray Silver also signed by the Killer himself, Jerry Lee Lewis

Just got Great Balls of Fire signed by Mr. Silver in Savannah, GA this past weekend. He was promoting another book called Behind the Moss: Tales from Savannah when I noticed he had written Great Balls of Fire. I told him I was a huge fan of Jerry and really enjoyed the movie (I didn't realize it was a book first). I also mentioned that I need to get the book to see what I missed. He said it was out of print, but to stop by the next day and he'll get me a copy of it. I came in the next afternoon and he signed and gave me a copy of the book with a Jerry Lee Lewis signature already in it!!! Even if the book sux, which I know it won't, I will never get rid of it. The guy was really cool to talk to also. He had so many great stories about Jerry Lee Lewis.

It pays off if you chat a bit with the authors even if you don't know at first who in the hell they are!!
