Well, unfortunately in my state I have to pay tax to Buy.com so that kind of ruins things. It still comes out like $.50 cheaper if you can wait a month. Every little bit counts.

I have been waiting for this announcement. Seasons 2 through Season 6 were released every two months. Why did they go and release Season 7 four months after Season 6? I had been hoping to pick it up during the forthcoming Deep Discount 20% sale. Oh well.

i appreciate the thought man :-d but i just decided to buy it anywayz...besides...after the FW cashback option (which is 1%...every little bit counts ) its almost the exact price of the DD after 20% off. Plus im selling off my SDVD copy of Shinobi..plus i just really wanna show it to my g/f and friends in HD and not have to wait a month :-D

Yeah...that InuYasha set is a little beyond my price range.

From the description, it's should include the TV series (55 discs, 167 episodes) and the movies (4 discs). That will make it about $7.12 per disc. Nevertheless $419.99 is quite a bit of money to spend.

Well, assumign you got all the sets and movies for $35 from Walmart that would be $210 bucks.

I have sets 1, 3, and 4 for $35. I hope to buy the movie sets and hope they get set 5 for $35. Then I just need to mfind a good price for set 1.

Blah. I waited too long to buy this. I was going to order it on Thursday in hopes of adding on a few items in the specials or studio sale but I guess fate didn't want me to buy this series for such a steal.

Ouch. It'll be on sale again. I think. With 72 left, they're betting at least one pathetic mofo will buy it at $180. Then, a few weeks later, $49.98 or so.

It makes sense for them to do so, but I guess only time will tell whether it happens or not.

It kind of reminds me of how R.O.D. TV was part of the Geneon abundance sale and if people missed out on volume 7 + artbox, they had to fork out more than just $28 for the entire series with the box. Though I do have hopes that the Gungrave set drops in price because I can't imagine someone paying that kind of price unless it was something really rare like ADV's Sailor Moon sets.
