I emailed early this morning and just got a response for $18 credit. I wasn't expecting so much since I only paid $47 for it a month ago.

They've probably made a mistake thinking that current price is $29.99 instead of $39.99. I hope you are not complaining.

I was 1 day of the 30 days and they would not give me the $18 credit.

Damn, looks like it's gone already. I put it in my cart and went all the way to the final stage and it still shows $57.99 :/

It was yesterday's (01/29/08) gold box deal ...

Excellent price, I sent in for a refund of $18 yesterday and noticed the credit this morning. At $58, it was a great deal, so at $40, it's a steal.

Thanks OP!

I got my credit late last night — and I had originally used the DVDSAVES5 coupon — so $34.99 was my final out-of-pocket. Excellent.

I didn't think they were going to give me the price match for my old order. The guy on the phone said it was too late, but I e-mailed anyway.
I ordered yesterday, planning to use this to return the old order. However, it looks like they did match after all from the e-mail, so I may have an extra one that would be available for $40 + $3 shipping--PM me if interested (just waiting to hear from another list if anyone local was interested)

Send a second email. I've been gunned down before on my first attempt. However, I did get the adjustment on my second request.

Is it still possible since the deal is over?

It can't hurt to try. Just tell them that you noticed that the price was $39.99 yesterday and that since your order was so recent, please cough up a refund.

Looks like I have a local taker, so no longer available.

And as for the price match thing--I've done that before--when I saw I had a goldbox offer, I was still able to get the price match from a previous order via the e-mail form.

Holy crap! I received mine already! Got it a few hours ago. I signed up for a free month of amazon prime, but still I can't expect receiving it 24 hours later!

Amazon Prime is amazing. I bought the subscription a week ago, and 3 of the 4 orders I've placed have had the free 2 day shipping upgraded to overnight for no cost. This one is the only one that didn't - I'll have it on Friday.
