I used a $10 virtual gift card last week. Like joe b, my $7 check request was already received and validated when I noticed the option to change my rebate to a $10 GC. About 24 hours after making the change, I was emailed a "virtual gift certificate"- basically a printable note with a coupon code. The code could be used in store or entered online. It worked in store without any problems.

Ah, thank you. Looks like I'll be upgrading then.
EDIT: It's requesting a rebate tracking number before I can make the switch. Considering they just received it yesterday, will they be e-mailing me this information soon?
