Whats weird about that outpost deal, it may show up as 19.99 in your cart, but the 19.99 on the main page for the points still shows the 19.99 crossed out with the "sale price" button below it....

Boy am I retarded... I just found out over the weekend I could turn on my 360 remotely with my wireless controller by holding down the big green X button... Am I the last person to know this? Or did this happen in an update?

I imagine my 360's blog is not very happy about this.
BladeDVD's Xbox - 6/18/2006
I only have one request... If BladeDVD isn't going to game, the least he could do is turn me off so I don't feel the pain. But no... I was awake for six hours crying in my own head.

I just wish i knew how much it would be, id like to purchase Uno and SF2, but i dont want to buy Uno and not have enough left over for SF2. I have the 1600 point card, btw. Anyone have any insight?

Rumor is actually 400 pts. I'm not a fan, but I think that would be a damn good price for it.
Yep. One of the announced features I was looking forward to before launch. You can also shut down the machine the same way.

I don't think I've ever touched the on/off on the console. I'll say it again, I love that button.

If they can cut costs, then this would make a lot of sense. Though this probably wouldn't put a dent in the sales of PS3 to early adopters, it could hurt after the Christmas rush.

Xbox 360 Price Drop This Xmas

It looks like Microsoft is planning to crash Sony's PS3 launch party by dropping the price of the Xbox 360 this coming Christmas. A source close to Microsoft says consumers can expect a price drop of almost $100.
The source also revealed according to Britxbox.co.uk that the Xbox 360 hardware team are now busy redesigning the chips supplied by ATI and IBM to cut costs and allow a price drop to coincide with the release of Sony's Playstation 3.
If this holds true you will be able to buy an Xbox 360 for half the price of the PS3 this Xmas. This will certainly put Microsoft in a very lucrative position when the next-gen console war starts for real later this year.

I'm definitely keeping my eye on any news relating to a price-drop. I don't think they need to and I wouldn't be surprised if these rumors are just production cost cuts that won't be passed on to the consumer until after the holiday season, but I can say it would certainly push me to join faster.
