In addition to the region 2 New Captain Scarlet series 1 set that I mentioned earlier in this thread, my brother also got me a Toshiba SD-P1600 Portable DVD Player with 7" LCD, which arrived from Amazon today. VERY pleased!

I got Angel season one, Four Brothers, 40 Year Old Virgin, and The Island.

Not nearly as many as past Christmases, but I wanted other things this year. And I just buy too many for myself already.

Sad to say, I got 42 DVD's for Christmas... That's almost scary, even to me.

Well....I don't ask for dvds but I do buy them myself, just as my own Christmas treat. I've bought 34 since day before santaday plus I bought over 20 for gifts to others. Over 50 total. yeah, the dvd gods love my white ass.

*just placed amazon order*....make it 58.

I gave my In-Laws a very specific list, to which I was pleasantly surprised that they purchased every one on it!

Seinfeld 5-6 Gift Set
I Love Lucy S5
Legendary Jerry Lewis Collection (10D Set)

Definately a Merry Christmas with these!

My brother works for Buena Vista, so he's been playing Santa to me all year. He brings me stuff as soon as they get it, some good, some bad.

I don't ask for them, considering the risk of getting something that I already have (700 DVD's here...good chance for duplicates), getting something in the wrong version, or *gasp*, the worst, getting something in full screen.

The only one I got was Seinfeld Season 5, which was a-okay with me.
