Re: TV shows being edited for content due to social issues

Yup, they don't receive residuals when shows are pulled from syndication. When 7th Heaven was pulled from a cable network, a couple of actors who had minor roles complained about how they lost extra...

Re: What channel that drifted from its original mission disappointed you the most?

I agree with others who have mentioned Bravo, E! and TLC. Another network that has sort of disappointed me is Game Show Network, they use to show a great variety of reruns from various game shows and...

Re: Little Fires Everywhere (Hulu) - S: Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington -- premieres 3/18/20

I read the book a few months back and so far I'm enjoying how the adaptation has panned out in the first three episodes.

Re: This Is Us (NBC) -- Season 4 Thread -- Premieres 9/24/19

I enjoyed the finale of the most part. One of the next season long mysteries will probably be Who does Kevin really marry? I'm guessing it will end being Sophie

Re: Stumptown

I really enjoyed that storyline and it's fun seeing Donal Logue on TV again.

Re: American Horror Story: 1984 (FX) -- Season 9 Thread -- premieres 9/18/19

I'm liking this season quite a bit. I loved the twist at the end of episode 3.

Re: American Horror Story: 1984 (FX) -- Season 9 Thread -- premieres 9/18/19

I've enjoyed the first two episodes. Love the use of White Wedding in that flashback scene.

Re: What/If (Netflix) -- from the creator of Revenge, EP: Zemeckis -- S: Zellweger, Levy, Jenner, Annable

I binged this over the weekend. It was good trash entertainment. I guessed the twist in the first couple of episodes. A better writing team would have made that twist a little bit more entertaining.

Re: The Act (Hulu) -- true crime anthology series -- premieres 3/20/19

I had DVR'd the Lifetime movie and watched it after watching the first two episodes of The Act. The Act is much better than the movie. Gypsy Rose's family is in contact with a writer and they're to...

Re: In the Dark (The CW) -- S: Perry Mattfeld, EP: Stiller, Showalter -- premieres 4/4/19

I watched this last night. I kind of liked the friendship between the main character and the guy who got murdered. It wasn't a great pilot. But, I'll keep watching it to see if it improves.

Re: This Is Us (NBC) -- Season 3 Thread -- Premieres 9/25/18

I don't care much for Kate's storyline this season or Randall's storyline with that apartment building. Kevin looking into Jack's past in Vietnam is the storyline that interests me the most.

Re: The Good Place (NBC) -- Season 3 Thread -- premieres 9/27/18

I enjoyed the premiere and last night's episode. I'm curious to see where they go with Janet this season.

I think there will be some kind of twist with the new character Simone.

Re: This Is Us (NBC) -- Season 3 Thread -- Premieres 9/25/18

They are always playing around with locations on this show and it sort of bugs me at times.

Re: Manifest (NBC) -- From Producer Robert Zemeckis -- Premieres 9/24/18

When I saw promos for this show I immediately thought of the 4400.
