re: Thor: Love and Thunder (2021, D: Waititi) - News, Cast, Rumors

For me, Ragnarok feels too much like an Austin Powers flick. Fun junk food flick for some, but has nothing to offer in cinematic sustenance.

re: Thor: Love and Thunder (2021, D: Waititi) - News, Cast, Rumors

They also did the character no favors by letting every other hero in the MCU be worthy of wielding his hammer! In the 80's, it was a jaw dropping moment in the comics when Beta Rat Bill picked up the...

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

I would much prefer a mini Saturn and Dreamcast.

re: Thor: Love and Thunder (2021, D: Waititi) - News, Cast, Rumors

I also felt Ragnarok was a silly mess. Between Ragnarok and fat Thor, it is hard to take the character serious.

Re: Actors/Actresses you've now noticed in movies you watch all the time?

Saw Fassbender in an episode of Agatha Christie's Poriot (David Suchet).

Re: It's 2019: Have you seen Casablanca (1942)?

Better yet, Passage To Marsaille! The movie contains a flashback inside of a flashback.

Re: Disney’s The Little Mermaid - live action (D: Marshall)

You're not alone. Not enough fiery reds working in Hollywood now.

Re: The Walking Dead (and other zombie discussion)

Comes off like something out of left field. I really don't know why Kirkman couldn't pad the book for seven more issues.

Re: Rumor: MAD Magazine to Cease Publication

Plus there is no reoccurring characters that are iconic enough to market in other forms of media.

Re: It's 2019: Have you seen Casablanca (1942)?

While I like and respect Casablanca, my real love is The Maltese Falcon! In the Maltese Falcon, you get the badass (hard boiled)/ take no prisoners version of Bogey. The movie plays even better in...

Re: The Sandman TV series ordered by Netflix -- From EPs Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer

It would be funny and typical in a twisted way, if they ended up making this a crime procedural show. "In a detective's dreams, Morpheus and his sister Death will help give him clues and riddles to...

Re: Disney’s The Little Mermaid - live action (D: Marshall)

Is this any worse than the period where they made movies based off theme park rides due to the success of POTC? Or all the cheap direct to video animated sequels? Re-releasing Endgame and trying to...

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

More than likely it is because of their misguided Family Dollar acquisition. Saw an article in the business section of my local paper about it being a drag on their 2nd or 3rd quarter results.
