Re: Pre-Horror Challenge 15: Building of the Optional Lists (Themes, Subset, & Checklist)

Yes, my first post back resulted in a complete crash, followed by a hard restart. I think everything is back to normal.

Re: Comments, Suggestions & Feedback for the 2019 Horror Challenge

Three months doesn't seem too early. Based on the past few years, most people know it's been going up early. I don't see why not. When does the traffic pick up around here?

Re: EAA Charity Sale - Deals on Shout factory, Warner, Criterion, others

That title was on my list, but I was having such a hard time adding titles, it got left off in my rushing about.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

I got one of Joe Bob's books and I'm pretty stoked about it.

I also managed to watch something on Netflix, but the name escapes me. It may have been good but I can't quite remember. I hope this...

Re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I went and picked around a few days after and was able to find a few low priced duds. That Godfather snag has given me some hope. I may drop by this evening to the Walmart across town.

Re: EAA Charity Sale - Deals on Shout factory, Warner, Criterion, others

I found the box from last year under the coffee table in the living room yesterday morning. Disks were still in the shipping box. People v. O.J. Simpson, White Christmas and two seasons of Girls. ...

Re: Comments, Suggestions & Feedback for the 2019 Horror Challenge

Yes, the checklist item I have trouble with every year is Master of Commentary. I love Joe Bob, but I just don't have any of those titles with exception of I Spit on Your Grave. That one is buried...

Re: "Sleepy Hollow" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge

I had never seen this before, and had stayed away because it looked pretty slick and had modern day pirate Johnny Depp. I was thoroughly entertained, but I felt dirty afterward. Does there always...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

It's been a long month, and I'm planning on sleeping in this weekend.

I had mixed feelings this morning when I woke up. I was relieved it was November 1, and I could finally get 8 hours of...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

Woo! We made it!

It seems like everyone in the building dressed up today, and it's a very festive atmosphere. I've been amassing a good pile of candy as people have taken to the halls to...

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Man, this is a crazy good deal. I paid over $50 for the UK disks, and I thought I was getting a great deal.

Re: "Demon Wind" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge

A lot going on here, and I wouldn't say it was entirely coherent, but I liked it. I actually thought the demons looked pretty good, but the effects just didn't really work for me.

I seem to buy...

Re: "Demon Wind" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge

Decided to pop my head in to get some of the praise for Demon Wind before I pop it in....

Demon Wind will be my 99th film.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

There are some really nice lists this time around. I was hoping to be able to put a bit more work into it this year, but I'm barely able to stay afloat by this time.

I get...

Re: "Dr. Caligari" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge

Yes, I didn't really hate this one, but there were some really puzzling moments for me. I like how Undeadcow, mentioned Pee Wee's Playhouse, because that's what I was thinking.
