Re: The 2016 Presidential Election thread

Re: Horse Racing -- The Sport of Kings -- 2012 and beyond

He may not be among the best horses - that's the point. If should - well if would increase his stature. If he loses - what then?

Re: Horse Racing -- The Sport of Kings -- 2012 and beyond

Why would you want him to run in The Classic? He would face older horses.

He accomplished a hell of a lot more than I...

Re: Horse Racing -- The Sport of Kings -- 2012 and beyond

It looks as if American Pharoah is going to be retired. Obviously he's not going to run in the BCC.

Re: The 2016 Presidential Election thread

One can only hope (a little prayer might help) that neither Trump nor Hillary gets the nomination.

Re: Horse Racing -- The Sport of Kings -- 2012 and beyond

That was too easy for Beholder. She 'destroyed' a pretty good field.

Question: will she run in the BCC?

Re: Former President Jimmy Carter reveals he has cancer that has spread

I voted for Carter. His problem - IMO -was that he took the staff that he used in Atlanta (Georgia Gang)to the White House. They didn't have a clue as to how to run the White House. And - IMO - he...

Re: The 2016 Presidential Election thread

I hope that Joe Biden decides to run for the presidency. He hasn't ruled it out.

Unlike Hillary - he does have some integrity. ;)

Re: The 2016 Presidential Election thread

I'm voting for Bernie Sanders - any presidential candidate who has the fortitude to speak at Liberty College - can't all be bad. ;)

Re: Horse Racing -- The Sport of Kings -- 2012 and beyond

There's no 3-year old that can challenge him - now The BCC is something different.

Do you believe the purse for the winner of The Haskell will be raised again before post-time? ;)

I see where Saudi Arabia is 'gearing' up its nuclear arsenal.

Re: The 2016 Presidential Election thread

McCain violated the UCOMJ - there's no doubt about that.

I would imagine that any one who was in captivity of the NV for 4+ years and tortured day & night would do any different.

Now if he had been awarded the Distinguish Service Cross or The Congressional Medal of Honor - I would be more inclined to believe what he said. :)

Re: Attack on Iran nuclear facilities "imminent"?

I don't care who crafted it - it's a bad deal.

I suspect the GOP controlled Senate will take up the matter.

I wonder how Hillary will campaign on this issue? I can't believe that she will be in support of this deal.
