I saw this projected at the Mayfair Cinema about a decade ago. It's really a great recommend and a perfect debut film for the challenge.

Suggestion for 1993 would be The Dark Half by George Romero. It's also one of the better Stephen King adaptations about writers. I checked and we've not used it previously. Could have two Romero...
