Re: Official 'Ratchet & Clank Future : A Crack In Time' Thread

I think so too. I don't know how else you are going to vary the formula. You've got puzzles, space shooting, area combat, platforming, etc. I don't know what else you could want or expect? turn...

Re: Return of the Hughes Bros: Denzel Washington in post-apocalyptic drama "Book of E

Since the beginning of time? You don't think babies, puppies, etc are cute for the hell of it do you? :) All about survival skills, and Mila is just doing her part.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Bay, 2009) The Reviews Thread

I think so too. The disappearing autobots seem to go along with the old police showing up at the very end of a movie, after the main character has gone it alone.

I also have no explanation...

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Bay, 2009) The Reviews Thread

It would certainly keep Sam from coming near her. But, it wouldn't stop her from running into him (and being a machine I'm sure she could conveniently track him on campus) and then we are back in...

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Bay, 2009) The Reviews Thread

That's a reasonable question. My assumption was that since she had yet to try and kill, maim, or harm him in any way, he wanted to try and figure out what she was up to (Off screen apparently).

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Bay, 2009) The Reviews Thread

I took it as he does know, that's why he plays SuperFreak. He just doesn't want to relay that information directly, since ya, she could just kill him instantly (since she's sitting right beside...

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Bay, 2009) The Reviews Thread

It's very hard to take serious stock in the movie-going hoards today. Once bad word of mouth starts on a huge picture, it ends up being "the worst movie abomination of all time". The opposite was...

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Bay, 2009) The Reviews Thread

I and RT (A respectable 66%, not bad for a summer popcorn flick) would disagree. But, that's the wonderful thing about opinions.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Bay, 2009) The Reviews Thread

Man, are any of these summer movies going to live up to expectations? Last year we had Hulk, Iron Man, Dark Knight, etc hitting the mark and now all these seem to to missing it. Disappointing...

Re: Transformers 2 (2009) - news, rumors, castings...

Personally, I don't know many guys who want to look at shlongs and man ass, regardless of whether it's a R-rated comedy, a PG-13 action movie or a Richard Simmons's workout tape(that's assuming the...

Re: Transformers 2 (2009) - news, rumors, castings...

But aren't people being a little selective of what they hate? Nobody docks The Hangover points for showing man ass or Forgetting Sarah Marshall for making us look at Segal's wing wang;

but...

Re: Pixar Animation Studios Presents: Up! (5/29/09)

To me, if you can buy into a man attaching balloons to his house and floating to Venezuela, then the dog parts don't seem that absurd.

Re: Transformers 2 (2009) - news, rumors, castings...

Not saying this to anyone in particular. But, yes, I believe there are plenty of people out there who hate Michael Bay's everloving guts and if they see it, will go into the film wanting to hate it....

Re: The Human Factor (Eastwood, 2009): Biopic on Nelson Mandela & 1995 World Rugby Cu

Interesting. I was in Cape Town at the time the "on set pics" article was published and I remember them closing off some of the streets for a film shoot. I have no idea if it had anything to do...

Re: What, in your opinion, is the best ending to a film?

I thought There Will Be Blood had a great ending. It had a great everything, really.

Not the best, but I liked the ending of Casino Royale more than any other Bond movie.

Re: The latest Matthew McConaughey winner

A shame, the man's been in some decent flicks since Dazed as well. Frailty and Reign of Fire come to mind. Even Sahara was good entertainment.

Re: Dave Matthews Band - Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King - 6/2/09

I've listened to it, and think it's great. Production quality is similar to BTCS and Crash, but not the overall sound.

Very Tim Reynolds centric song, with an underwhelming Tim solo (for Tim...

Re: Lucas working on a new film not named Star Wars or Indy!

Cuba was in American Gangster, which wasn't that long ago. Admittedly, a small role though.
