Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I can't tell you if Scribblenauts Unlimited is 1:1 with the iPad version (maybe the 3DS has more content?) but I bought the iPad version for 99c and was bored with it after 10 minutes.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

They're for folks outside North America (like me) who want to buy content on US PSN. Having said that, I was cheated on eBay a while back so I would suggest going with an established service like...

Re: Your favorites of 2012?

Walking Dead was really good. Corpse Party on PSP was really interesting. Dark Souls is great, still going on that. Fallout 3 GOTY has been a lot of fun too. Finally got to Dragon Age 2 this year. So...

Re: Steam Thanksgiving Sale (11/21 - 11/26)

Half Minute Hero at $6 or 40% off is a great price for a great game. Also interested in Ys: Origin at 50% off.

Re: Is this anyone else's least favorite video game gen so far?

For me it felt like the PS2 era was when we started getting really high quality localisations. And that's continued into this gen.

Re: Is this anyone else's least favorite video game gen so far?

To answer the original topic, maybe my least favourite gen would be the N64/PS1 gen. The SNES/Megadrive gen also wasn't that great either because of the number of great SNES games that never made it...

Re: Is this anyone else's least favorite video game gen so far?

JRPGs have been good this gen. Maybe last gen was a little better but the games are there if you make the effort. Especially if you include DS/PSP in this gen (I do).

Re: What's your favorite Ultima game?

The first time I tried 3 was about when U7 came out and it was too archaic for me to get into back then :). U4 is about my limit for the old Ultimas.

Streets of Rage 2. Zelda OoT with the gold cartridge. Baldurs Gate 2.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I have Two Worlds 2 on PS3 actually and decided it was crap about an hour in. Don't know what I'll do with my copy!

Re: The Wii - Should I dump it? (WARNING: Rant inside)

Dump that POS. :)

You can get all the light gun bliss you need with Move on the PS3.

Re: 10 insanely tough games

I completed Demons Souls without much difficulty. Therefore it most certainly does not belong on this list.

re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread

Also, the 3DS always had the promise of Nintendo's titles eventually coming even when it was sucking. We know there will be more good stuff on Vita eventually but Japanese gamers want to see trailers...

re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread

PSP is still dominant over 3DS "on the ground". Sony's only hope is based around how many of those existing PSP owners can be converted over to Vita instead of being lost to 3DS. They really need...

Re: Games that used previous saves for added content?

Also you could import your Suikoden 2 save into Suikoden 3 and the game would include historic references to Suikoden 2 events.

Re: Games that used previous saves for added content?

I haven't played 3 yet but what about 2? I don't remember anything particularly mind blowing.

Re: Games that used previous saves for added content?

That reminds me, also Konami. In Silent Hill 3 when you look in a toilet you will get a different reaction depending on whether or not you have a Silent Hill 2 save on your card.

Re: Games that used previous saves for added content?

Mass Effect is a big one. You can run into characters from the previous games and they will react differently depending on how you interacted with them before.

Re: If the Wii U only supports one Wii U controller, will you still buy one?

Pity about 90% of their other stuff. The exception that proves the rule.

Re: If the Wii U only supports one Wii U controller, will you still buy one?

Motion control was the main feature of the Wii. Similarly, the tablet controller is the main feature of the WiiU.
