Re: Dolemite Is My Name (2019, D: Brewer) S: Eddie Murphy as Rudy Ray Moore -- Netflix

Oh but I do, and I have. But Iím still not sold on Murphy from this trailer.
Also, Iím getting more of a Man on the Moon vibe here than Ed Wood.

Re: Dolemite Is My Name (2019, D: Brewer) S: Eddie Murphy as Rudy Ray Moore -- Netflix

Am I the only one who thinks this looks pretty bad? I was really looking forward to it but Murphy just isnít doing it for me in this trailer. He stills acts like heís walking through Norbit or Daddy...

Re: Do you watch older movies that return to the theatre for a "special" engagement?

I donít do the Fathom Events but did do the CEOT3K in Dolby.
In NYC there are numerous theaters showing classic movies every day. The Alamo here has at least 3 per week and I try to go whenever itís...

Re: Rutger Hauer Dead at 75

For PAL VHS, T-180s were the most common and there were also T-240s (12 hours in SLP!). Was a bummer going from that to T-120/T-160 when I moved to the States.

Re: Giant Equifax data breach: 143 million people could be affected

I opted for the credit monitoring service instead of the $125.
However I did put in for the $250 for 10 hours of time spent. 5 hours in September 2017 and 5 more in October 2017. (This thread made...

Re: The Public (2019, D: Estevez) S: Estevez, Baldwin, Malone, Wright, Schilling, Slater, Union

I caught this in the theater and really hated the ending too. But I was mostly just happy to see Emilio Estevez acting in something again.

Re: MoviePass... would it work for you? [UPDATE: DYING A SLOW DEATH]

The sad thing is, once this will be officially over, Mitch Lowe might be a laughing stock (he already is) and will have lost a lot of money, but thereís no true schadenfreude because heíll just go...

Re: Movie/Cinema Musuems in Europe?

Re: Toy Story 4 (Cooley, 2019) ó The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

yeah, my takeaway walking out of the movie was that Bo Peepís a homewrecking bitch, but itís really Woody who decided to leave and there wasnít much push from Bo.

Re: Star Trek 4 -- news, rumors, etc.

I think itís pretty safe to say that all of them would be more likely to return if it was a Tarantino storyline and especially if he was also directing.

Re: The One and Only Kino Lorber and Olive Films Blu-Ray Thread
