Re: Lucifer (FOX) -- S: Tom Ellis -- Season 1 Thread -- Premieres 1/25/16

Well, that was fun. Interesting turn of events. I'm hooked for a while longer. Tom Ellis is having a blast, you can tell.

Re: Public Morals (TNT) - Series Thread - Created by & Starring Edward Burns

I'm loving this show. Of course now I'll have to wait a month for them to catch up, but the first four episodes were great. I'm in for the season. Burns plays his typical sarcastic beantown self,...

Re: Fox picks up DC/Vertigo's Lucifer (D: Len Weisman, S: Tom Ellis)

Agreed, while I know nothing about the comic, the pilot was a lot of fun. I'll be watching when the season starts.

Re: Coherence (2014) D: Byrkit -- Sci Fi Thriller

I thought it was a little slow to get going, but quite interesting, once it did. I ultimately enjoyed it and would recommend it as a rental. Neat plot and thought-provoking ending.

Re: The November Man (2014 - D: Donaldson) -- S: Brosnan, Kurylenko -- 8/27/14

He says it's because after November, nothing is left alive (i.e., in December, everything dies). It's kinda dumb, if you ask me.

Re: Your favorite Robin Williams movie?

GWH, but Aladdin as a close second. Could watch either over and over again. Rest in peace, Robin. You'll be missed.

Re: Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) -- Remainder of Season 1 Thread

Agreed, I will be very disappointed when this gets the axe. Neat story and interesting characters. I tuned in every week and wish I could do so next season!

Re: Gang Related (FOX) - S: O'Quinn, Kang, Rodriguez, RZA -- Thursdays

Agreed, another great episode tonight. They know how to do cliffhangers. Hope this show is picked up, I'm really enjoying it.

Re: The films that grossed $250m+ and apparently flopped

Based on the comments on this forum, I would count PACIFIC RIM among these. Yet it made $400m worldwide.

Re: Helix -- "Black Rain" -- 3/14/14

For such a promising start, this show has rapidly gone downhill. I really don't care about any of the characters anymore. Morbid curiosity will have me watch the rest, but I hope there's no season...

Re: Jupiter Ascending (2014) D: Wachowskis; S: Kunis, Tatum, Bean

Ugh...not sure they could have picked worse actors for this one (except for Sean Bean, he's cool). This is how I felt after seeing the trailer:

From the men....er....man and woman who brought you...

Re: Ender’s Game (Hood, 2013) — The Reviews Thread

I enjoyed this much more than I expected. It was far better than the trailers let on, IMHO. Great acting by Ford and Butterfield wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. I thought it very well capture...

Re: Riddick (Twohy, 2013) — The Reviews Thread

Agreed. The beginning and middle were far better than the ending. I thought both PB and tCoR took a few chances with their endings. This seemed far more "hollywood" (which kinda goes against the...

Re: Time Warner DROPS CBS/Showtime (for now)

Best thing you can do is call and complain to TWC. Ask them for credits for each day the outage continues. Everyone starts playing nice when it costs them money. (That's how I always handle the...
