Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 16th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Been a few days since I checked Shudder. Turned it on to find ILS (2006) had been newly added. Itís been a while since I had seen this one and that was a terrible muddy print, so I was really excited...

Re: "Street Trash" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

Man, I love Street Trash. This movie just meanders from the junkyard to the liquor store and, back to the junkyard, etc. After watching this I really felt the need to take a bath! Everyone was...

Re: "The Autopsy of Jane Doe" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

I had kept on putting off watching this one, in the hope it would be chosen for a theme night. Through the years, I've heard good things, and I think the wait really paid off. I love the slow build...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 16th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Sat down to watch The Quiet Family last night. After about 30 minutes, the movie felt very familiar, and I had to look it up. We watched the remake, The Happiness of the Katakuris a few years ago for...

Re: "The Body Snatcher" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

Yes , the Scream blu looks nice. Itís even got a nice commentary track. I really enjoyed this one. All the Karloff monologues had me thinking about the Grinch cartoon. One of my favorite views this...

Re: "Spookies" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

This is really interesting. Yes she got stripped down, hair teased for her final act. She really is underdeveloped, and it really seems that entire thread with the bride was just added to pad an...

Re: "Spookies" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

This is one of the greatest observations I've seen in a while! Bravo for taking a moment to think about things!

This was a real mess to watch. Unfortunately, I didn't have the observation above,...

Re: "The Bird with the Crystal Plumage" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

The guy is talking to the cops, and he rationalizes that he is getting closer to the murderer, as there is an assassin after him.

Re: "Black Christmas" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

I thought I had seen the original version, but I was wrong. Watching this, I was amazed how good this movie really is. A few months ago, I watched the 2019 remake, and I'm glad I can forget ever...

Re: "Out of the Dark" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

This is one crazy movie with some really funny bits interspersed with some that don’t make any sense at all. I would have skipped this one, but The Professional poster sold me on it, and I had a bit...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 16th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

That would have been such a missed opportunity though. I love the original for just that.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 16th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

This is the route Iíve taken on that set. We really need more commentary tracks. King Ghidorah is great, and I imagine those tiny singing twins were very popular so they kept bringing them back.

Re: "Eaten Alive" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

Iíve tried to tackle this review a few times already, and I wonít deny having a hard time watching Eaten Alive. It was overly dark and the red and blue overtones didnít help things much. I felt...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 16th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I've heard a good bit of negativity regarding Midsommar, so I'm glad you've come along to restore my faith in humanity.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 16th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I watched 12-Hour-Shift and it was darkly humorous with a good deal of tension, but I really wouldn't consider it horror. It's got an IMDB horror tag, so I'm taking it. It's got a woman director...

Woo Travis!

Hey Chad, Is that the drill from Slumber Party Massacre? My wife worked for almost an hour on that skull, right of the bottom center box. What was that from?
