Re: Silicon Valley (HBO) -- Season 4 Thread -- Premieres 4/23/17

After binge-watching the first three seasons, I forgot how much I missed this show. Welcome back, boys, one of the best shows on television.

Re: Perfect Couples -- "Perfect Health" -- 2/03/11

I'm not sure why, but I continue watching this every week. Olivia Munn has been absolutely dreadful in everything she's done since AotS.

Re: Biggest Loser 2010 Pt. II

I bought a hand strap bottle from Sports Authority and it's made a huge difference on longer runs. If you're going longer than 5mi or 40mins, you should really be replacing fluids and calories...

Re: How do you stay in shape in the winter?

Similar position here, dislike exercising when it's cold outside. I have the Marine Corps marathon on Sunday which will be my last race of the year, after which I plan on spending most of my time on...

Re: Final Fantasy vs. Dragon Quest/Warrior

I've never played any of the DQ games despite finishing most of the FF franchise (with the exception of the spin-offs, FF-X2, etc..) I appreciate the edge FF has in terms of story, character...

Re: Headphone Recommendation?

I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I've been very happy with these:

Re: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - "Mac's Big Break" - 10/07/10

AS has not been bringing the funny this season. I'm almost to the point where I'm regretting recommending this to others..

Granted there have been a few bright spots, but it's been pretty damn...

Re: It's official: atheists/agnostics know the most about religion

Atheist, 14/15. Sabbath question tripped me up, though I had a feeling it 'started' on Friday.

Is anyone really surprised by the results of this quiz..? My roommate, a devoted Christian, has...

Re: the office (uk) vs. extras

Re: The Running Thread (was Running is stupid and it hurts)

Looks like a great trail, I can see why you've stuck with it.

Just completed my first half-ironman on Sunday. Final time was 7:03 (yep, 7 hours..) My goal was simply finishing, so I couldn't...

Re: Running is stupid and it hurts

I ran my first marathon 3 years ago in a pair of Nike Frees and loved how flexible and lightweight they were. Back then they were more of a minimalist shoe with a low heel, now there are a range of...

Re: Running is stupid and it hurts

I've already done a 4mi race barefoot earlier in the year, pace around 8:20. Coming up is a half-ironman tri in June, Olympic distance tri in Sept, and the Marine Corps Marathon in Oct.

I've...

Re: Running is stupid and it hurts

There are a lot of nice trails in northern VA, but I've also run all through DC barefoot.

On the rare occasion I do see some glass or debris, it's easy to avoid it. Since making the switch I've...

Re: Running is stupid and it hurts

Agree with everything here. I have the black KSOs (Keeps Stuff Out) and haven't had any problems with them. Plus they're fun to wear around because of the reactions you get while you're out.

Re: (Verizon/Motorola/Google) DROID - November 6th

I got the "2.1-update1" a little bit ago; has anyone noticed that gmail has stopped doing a notification when you receive a new email? It used to flash green when I would get something new.
