Re: TV on DVD* Challenge Season 13 Discussion Thread

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 18th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

So far my favorites are Tenebrae, Next of Kin, and Wolf.

I've been having a great month - got a lot of great viewing in. I've watched several films on the Criterion Channel's 80s Horror collection...

Re: Pre-Horror Challenge 18: Building of the Optional Lists (Themes, Subset, & Checklist)

Watched The Fog, my assigned film, this evening. It's one of my favorite of John Carpenter's movies even though it's a bit messy. (NIa DaCosta pointed out some of the movie's oddities when she...

Re: 2022 Indie/Art House Challenge

Getting ready and travelling for Labor Day festivities has kept me so busy that I haven't been able to watch much. I watched the first two short films from my new Maya Deren box set. I had seen...

Re: 2022 Indie/Art House Challenge

I am too. I'm planning to focus on some box sets and Criterions that have been sitting unwatched on my shelf for a while. I have the Essential Fellini set and have yet to open it. Hoping to change...

Re: The 13th Annual Animation Challenge Discussion Thread

I finished The Legend of Vox Machina a couple of days ago. As a fan of Critical Role, I thought it would be a must watch, but a lot of the humor relied on gratuitous violence. It took me a few...

Re: The 13th Annual Animation Challenge Discussion Thread

The only original cast member that didn't voice their character was Walter Koenig. Filmation wasn't going to hire Nichols or Takei, but Leonard Nimoy refused to voice Spock if they weren't hired. I...

Re: The 13th Annual Animation Challenge Discussion Thread

I started the challenge with several episodes of ThunderCats, one of those 80s cartoons that I watched in syndication in the 90s. It's a silly cartoon meant to sell toys, but I love it. The...

Re: The 15th Annual Sci-fi/Fantasy Challenge Discussion Thread
