Re: MGM+ streaming service (formerly EPIX NOW)

I know there used to be an EPIX app for cable subscribers and an EPIX Now app for direct to consumers. I cancelled my EPIX subscription last month and got the annual plan instead so I'm using the...

Re: Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler (Now on HBO Max)

I wouldn't have minded a fourth season, but the show got pretty out there. 30 episodes is a good run.

Re: Paramount+ (formerly CBS All-Access) - ViacomCBS streaming service

Strange Angel was an odd show. It's still on there as of now. I'm still meaning to watch season 2.

Re: Snowpiercer (TNT) - based on the film - S: Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs - premieres 5/17/20

I finally finished my long and winding road to watch season 3. I had recorded them on the DVR, but when it showed up on HBO Max last year I deleted them for space. Then shortly before I was going...

Re: Paramount+ (formerly CBS All-Access) - ViacomCBS streaming service

I had planned on watching Let the Right One in next; I guess not. The shittier thing is that I've been watching the Man Who Fell to Earth on Thursday nights, and I had one episode left. I'm going...

Re: SNL 01/21/23 (S48E10) — H: Aubrey Plaza - MG: Sam Smith

With Plaza hosting I wonder if Amy Poehler will show up.

Re: Your favorite song from a Disney film

I was always partial to "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" from the movie that no longer exists.

Re: Your First Naked Celebrity

Home video wasn't really a thing, and we didn't have cable until much later so I'm going to guess that it was JoBeth Williams in the theatrical run of Kramer vs. Kramer. I would have been 7, and I...

Re: UHD release announcements

I mean who am I to tell Stallone how to end his movie, but changing the ending of Rocky Balboa to the alternate ending (him winning) seems to miss the point of the movie.

Re: Fast X - Fast & Furious 10 (2023, D: Leterrier)

What would make Gisele coming back even dumber than Letty and Han is that the "family" were all right there when she sacrificed herself. For her to still be alive would have to mean that they left...

Re: Cheers: Best Moments, Making of, and Who's on Day Shift?!

Earlier this fall I watched season one of Cheers in it's entirely for the first time probably since late 80s syndication. My two biggest "adult me" takeaways...

Re: Yellowjackets (Showtime) - S: Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey

It's Showtime. It will probably run at least two or three seasons longer than it should.

Re: Perry Mason (HBO) - S: Matthew Rhys - premieres 6/21/20

Certainly, the new management has demonstrated that if you want to watch a show then you better watch it. Last night I decided to go ahead and at least try to power through season 2 of Made for...

Re: Disney's Strange World (2022, D: Hall/Nguyen) V: Gyllenhaal, Quaid, Young-White, Union, Liu

There weren't really any new movies this week so I used an A-List reservation to see it tonight, in what turned out to be a private screening. The visuals were sometimes interesting and the story...

Re: The Amazing Race Season 34 (CBS) 9/21/22

And the Derek and Claire strategy of front loading her roadblocks did pay off. They said on a few occasions that what they didn't want to have happen was get a late one that was "you have to run a...

Re: Jeopardy! Discussion

Just watched Tuesday's game. Cris was a great champion, but I was more than ready for someone new. The daily curb stomp runaway games get old.

Re: The Amazing Race Season 34 (CBS) 9/21/22

They have said all along on their youtube episode recaps that was strategic. They wanted to try to max Claire out on roadblocks so Derek would have to do the later ones.

Re: RIP: Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac)

Because Lindsey quit before the "Tango in the NIght" tour, I was too young to see the classic FM lineup live before "The Dance" reunion tour. I saw that show in 1998, and I loved it. Chris was always...

re: Clarence Gilyard Jr. (Die Hard, Top Gun, Matlock, Walker: Texas Ranger) dead at 66

re: Clarence Gilyard Jr. (Die Hard, Top Gun, Matlock, Walker: Texas Ranger) dead at 66
