Re: Games where you can't get lost?

Vampire Survivors

The maps are rng I believe so they’re huge but you’re not really looking for anything you’re just running.

Re: Do you prefer James Cameron or Christopher Nolan movies?

Cameron is a little stronger but the Bat-trilogy is pretty darn good.

I am interested in watching Interstellar at some point.

Re: Walt Disney Animated Classics 2023 Blu-ray and 4K releases

They look like the tins for the old Disney Treasures releases.

Re: Blu-ray and DVD sales - We're number 2, but we try harder

Yeah, I'm at capacity. I have several titles just sitting flat on top of the other stuff. I need to watch some unwatched discs and get them on eBay if I don't like them enough to keep them.

Re: Star Wars anime short films

I watched most of the first batch and really enjoyed the different concepts and ideas. They should use things like this as testing grounds for new movie projects instead of just hiring the latest...

Re: Batgirl (D: El Arbi / Fallah) [CANCELLED]

Sunk cost fallacy aside, it feels absurd to have a product so close to completion and not do something with it. HBOMax for sure and a nice Blu-ray release would at least keep the character in front...

Re: Superman: Legacy (2025)

Yeah, I'm down. I can rewatch the 78 Superman over and over (having three versions to rotate through helps) but I would love to see a new version with that same kind of hopefulness.

Re: Mill Creek Entertainment Announces New Licensing Agreement With Disney

I can't think of any specific titles that I want to see come from this but I'm glad to see it. I just hope they have subtitles as some of the bargain discs I've bought over the years don't and it's...

Re: Star Trek: Picard (Paramount +) -- The 3rd and Final season -- Premieres 2/16/23

Seeing some buzz from reviewers on Twitter who are saying S3 is really good, and when pressed for their opinion on their first two seasons they admit that they weren't great. So that gives me some...

Re: The “Spend Your Allowance” Game

Kinda depends on how old I am at that point.

When I was younger I bought stuff like Daffy Duck and Donald Duck, and also Archie stuff, so probably those. Into my teens I'd shift towards the...

Re: Blu-ray and DVD sales - We're number 2, but we try harder

I still see them at Meijer and even Target has a cardboard shelf with bargain titles, but they don't seem to move many titles out of them.

Re: RIP: Annie Wersching (24, Bosch, The Rookie) - Dead at 45

That's very sad, she was a fun Borg Queen on Picard.

Re: Movies/Scenes that changed because of actor shenanagins

The Naked Gun movies are a little easier to take because his character is constantly getting the shit beat out of him. But then there's the transphobia in them.

The writer has admitted she...

Re: Star Trek: Picard (Paramount +) -- The 3rd and Final season -- Premieres 2/16/23

Ugh, that just reminds me how dumb the writers were to introduce those two awesome Romulans that were clearly in a polycule with Picard and then... just leave them behind when Picard goes on his...

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country 4K

Had to go to three different Best Buy locations to find a slip that didn’t look like garbage.

Re: TRON: ARES (D: Rønning) S: Jared Leto

I keep seeing people say that Leto has a thing for underage girls and want him held to account for that.

Re: Weirdest Film You Don’t Own

Given that I started my DVD collecting with Star Trek it’s a little odd that I don’t own every single series on disc but streaming has made it too easy to find and play a single episode at a time. I...

Re: Trivial things in a movie that bug you anyway

IIRC, that’s what the sign said when shooting and they used CGI to put in the N word for the film.

But I agree that it changes him from being a racist threat to an annoying kook.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Just blazed through all of Shoresy after blazing through something else.

It can’t avoid its Letterkenny roots but having a more singular story lets you get closer to the characters.
