Re: Unreleased Licensed U.S. Anime Properties

I am so happy that Sentai apparently licensed both seasons of Student Council's Discretion. I am also pleased to see that Noragami will hit Blu-ray in the summer.

I'm hugely excited to see Student Council's Discretion has been licensed! One of my all-time favorite anime comedies and it has never been released before in the States. Gingitsune is a good show, I...

Re: Unreleased Licensed U.S. Anime Properties

I really liked THE AMBITION OF ODA NOBUNA. I wonder if it will get a BD release, though Sentai Filmworks has been pretty expansive in deciding what to release on Blu-ray in recent months.

Re: Unreleased Licensed U.S. Anime Properties

Re: Unreleased Licensed U.S. Anime Properties

Did anyone ever pick up Photo Kano? It would look great on Blu-ray, it's made for Hi-Def.

Re: Unreleased Licensed U.S. Anime Properties

Any chance the second season of Squid Girl hits Blu-ray? Media Blasters' various problems swallowed up any chance they would release it like the first season.

Re: Unreleased Licensed U.S. Anime Properties

Little Busters is a fine show but I don't remember its animation as really being suited for BD.

Re: Unreleased Licensed U.S. Anime Properties

Nyan Koi! is a cute show, though I am surprised it is seeing a Blu-ray release.

Re: Unreleased Licensed U.S. Anime Properties

I would strongly disagree with that idea, most recent anime that was natively produced in HD looks much better on Blu-ray. Only the stuff made years ago in the early 2000's really doesn't benefit.
