Re: The complaining about Amazon thread

I used the free trial of Prime, and it took more than two days each time to get the few things I ordered. Then I placed an order last Saturday (after my trial had ended and I didn't renew) and got it...

Re: TV shows that start on Blu and end on DVD

This reminds me of "Agents of SHIELD" and having to chase down season releases all over the place! From wide release, to Amazon, to Europe.. and what, the latest release is only in Japan?

TV shows that start on Blu and end on DVD

I'm not sure if this has been brought up elsewhere, but I've been annoyed lately with TV shows that I keep up with on disc. I'll pick up the blu-ray discs, then a couple seasons in they'll switch...

Re: Comic Care and Storage Thread

That's what I was thinking, that silver age bags should work.

Good point on the acid-free backs though- I'll have to make sure I pay attention that the whole is acid free, and not just one coated...

Re: Comic Care and Storage Thread

I've recently been thinking about redoing my bagging/backing to put two books per bag- each facing out on opposite sides of the board. I figure I'd save space (and weight), and theoretically it would...

re: Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021, D: Jason Reitman)

You're right, no human being would stack donut holes like this.

Re: A-ha world tour

Actually it's only been 9 years since they were last here, and NYC was on the list that time (since we drove from Michigan to see them)! That was actually their.. um.. "Farewell" tour. ;)

Re: EAA Charity Sale - Deals on Shout factory, Warner, Criterion, others

I *finally* just got my order to go through after playing with it on and off all night. Thankfully it seems I got stuff no one else was interested in. ;)

Re: EAA Charity Sale - Deals on Shout factory, Warner, Criterion, others

Re: EAA Charity Sale - Deals on Shout factory, Warner, Criterion, others

I somehow managed to get thru checkout and after I submitted my payment info, it took me back to the log in screen. Not sure if my order went thru but now the site seems totally down to me.

Re: RIP: Margot Kidder

It is for sure sad. :( But coming from someone who doesn't have probably a quarter of the problems she had, I can go from wanting to be a hermit and feeling like the lowest person in the world one...

Re: The Random Political Cartoon Thread

Are you kidding, that many Lego bricks probably cost more than a wall made of solid gold! ;)

Re: Elton John retiring from touring - Farewell Tour

It'd be good to go, but I'm sure ticket prices will be stupid high. At least I've seen him three times (one solo, two with Billy).

Re: American Made (2017, D: Doug Liman) S: Tom Cruise

I admit my biggest interest in this film is wishing it would prompt a DVD release of "Doublecrossed", the same story starring Dennis Hopper.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.

Am I missing something? It seems like in-store only, and then none are available anywhere near me?

Re: Official MST3K / Rifftrax / Cinematic Titanic DVD Thread

It's a riffing event at a theater with a meet-and-greet kind of deal. That'd be great if they had something there for sure!

Re: Official MST3K / Rifftrax / Cinematic Titanic DVD Thread

I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but this seemed the best place. Does anyone have a nice, hi-res photo of Dr. Forrester & TV's Frank? I've Googled half the day with no luck; basically we're...

Re: Dracula & The Mummy Legacy sets on May 16th

Does anyone know if the "Ultimate Collection" contains all of the special features from the original DVDs? There were quite a lot on the first two at least.

Re: Post Your Weekly Comics Pull-List

Funny to see me here too! I'm not out of comics by any means, but I haven't had a pull in years. I am picking up Serenity whenever they decide to put a new miniseries.

Re: Lego Talk!

I never thought about flattening boxes, but I guess that's a space saver! What does everyone do with the extra Lego pieces you land up with?
