Re: What are your most anticipated Blu-ray releases of 2011?

Probably the Star Wars Saga, but I would much rather just get the original movies and the extras on their own.

Re: Michael Douglas reveals throat cancer at stage 4

A shame about Mr. Douglas, I enjoyed him a lot in Wall Street and am eager to see Money Never Sleeps.

Re: Toy Story 3 - November 2, now up for pre-order

Disappointing about the absence of a Blu-Ray triple pack, but I personally prefer the 2-disc Blu-Ray cover as it closely resembles the poster.

Re: John McTiernan Gets 6 Months in Prison

Re: Best single year for movies (2000-2009)?

Hard to argue with 2007, although I also enjoyed 2000 and 2001 just as much.

Re: Clash of the Titans remake..

Just come out of a 2D showing and I couldn't help but think of God of War 3 during the intro but apart from that, the film itself was dull, Worthington seemed disinterested, Ralph Fiennes was laugh...

Re: Clash of the Titans remake..

Ouch at all the bad reviews, I'm seeing it myself tomorrow night so will have to see if they're justified.

Re: Your favorite scene. The one that makes you go, "holy shit" at it's pure awesomen

The Empire Strikes Back - "Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father." whilst not my all time favourite scene (though it's certainly one of them) this scene is one of those moments where...

Re: Best and Worst Movie experience of 2009

Best: Avatar, really great to see people turn out in big numbers for it, it proves that Cameron can still attract an audience.

Worst: G-Force, mainly because I was the only person in the cinema...

Re: Brittany Murphy dead at 32

A real pity, as I liked her in Happy Feet, she sang very well, RIP.

Man this year has been the worst year for celebrity deaths ever:

Ricardo Montalban
Patrick McGoohan
Natasha Richardson...

Re: Iron Man 2 - April 2010 (Favreau is directing)

Am more sold on this then I was before I saw the teaser, but it's nice to know they've kept the heart and comedy intact from the first film.

Re: James Cameron's Avatar - news, rumors, castings..

Re: James Cameron's Avatar - news, rumors, castings..

Does anyone here feel that the movie stands a chance at making money at the box office or not because I'm personally not convinced of it, especially with Sherlock Holmes opening a week later, which...

Re: 20th Century Fox buys the James Bond franchise???

I'll agree with that completely, even though there was a mixed reaction to Quantum of Solace I really enjoyed it, hopefully EON have the balls to bat him off and leave them alone to make the Bond...

Re: The Boat That Rocked (Curtis, 2009): 60's pirate radio comedy w/ P.S. Hoffman

Man that sucks for you guys not to get the proper film, I saw it a few weeks back and it's the best film I've seen this year after Gran Torino and yeah it was a little tiny bit long, but I liked it...
