Re: RIP: Ray Liotta - Dead at 67

Wow this was a shocker. RIP to a great actor. Had no idea he was that old. He looked great for his age. I haven't seen him act in a long time though. Probably Wild Hogs which was a lot of fun. I...

Re: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Raimi, 2022) ó The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

Yeah that shit spoiled it for me. I don't why people get a thrill out of being dicks. I saw it today and just felt underwhelming to me. Paper thin boring plot. I enjoyed the first Dr. Strange a lot...

Re: Gilbert Gottfried has passed away

Wow this one hurts. There will never be any comic like Gilbert. . I saw him recently on Joe Rogan's podcast and he was so much fun. I usually don't care for dirty comedy, but Gilbert's brand was...

This is Hollywood. Hell, they attack each other personally much worse at a roast.. Smith behavior was a deplorable display of unprofessionalism and pure rage. It was a dumbass move too in an...

Re: William Hurt dead at 71

RIP to one of the greats. My favorite role of his was in Mr. Brooks as the evil alter ego. Such an underappreciated thriller. Also had a small but powerful role in Into The Wild.

Re: Netflix - News & Discussion

Kinda cocky of them to charge 2-3 times as much as everyone else. More competition than ever before and now they jack up the price? Not worth paying $250 a year for me. I'll stick with HBO Max.

Re: What one thing did you hate most about 2021?

Yea it was for online payment processors like paypal. Before, the IRS was not notified unless you sold $20K and had 200 transactions. Now if you sell as little as $50 a month, they get notified....

Re: What one thing did you hate most about 2021?

Easily covid is the worst, but I really fucking hate the tax law change that was snuck into the stimulus bill back in March. The change is if you receive $600 or more in online payments in a year,...

Re: News of the World (2020, D: Greengrass) S: Tom Hanks

Movie didn't live up to my expectations, but it's good enough to add to my collection and I'll watch it again. The movie just really sags in the middle and I had a hard time investing in Hank's...

Re: Popular Movies You Just Donít Get

I don't get the love for the original Blade Runner. I've watched it multiple times and finally came to the conclusion that after I strip away my appreciation for the art direction, special effects...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Pure scum. Why would someone want to see CPR be destroyed just because they botched one single release? The death of CPR would be one less gaming company out there making big AAA games. Yea they...

Re: COVID-19 NON-POLITICAL Thread

Ugh, I hate hearing stories like this. Makes me feel like covid is one big sick game of Russian Roulette. . I wonder how many people died from going to that Sturgis Bike Rally.

re: Every 2021 WB movie streaming simultaneously on HBO Max upon theatrical release

This is exciting and welcome news. I don't see theaters dying out completely. The demand for a theater experience will always be there so they will come back post pandemic.

Just from a mental...

Re: COVID-19 Virus -- Movie related news

Is there anything else big at this point? As much as I hate it, I'm starting to accept the reality that covid is going to shape a new kind of future including the way we get our entertainment.
