it is WAY too heady for the average viewer.

It succeeds at what it does, and works on some of the layers, but it is not perfect...

It's a different kind of fantasy - more Dark Crystal in spirit than it is LotR or Narnia.

Any fan of fantasy or love story with malevolent whimsy should see this in the theaters....
