Re: Disney Blu-ray Club!

It is cheaper to start a new account. On average the cost per title is about $9, taking one at 50% off will be around $12.50 which will raise that average. The best deal is to get a free shipping...

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

You just missed a BOGOF code by about 2weeks. I believe there is one for those that made a purchase in July.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Fulfillments are based on price paid excluding tax and S&H. If a selection falls below 19.95 it doesn't count as a fulfillment. If you order 3 dvds the first being 22.95, the second 19.95 and the...

Re: Columbia House is screwing with me

Couldn't really get past this part of your post because it doesn't make sense.

If the order isn't the introductory order, don't open the package and send it back with "return to sender" on the...

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Welcome to the site. Most of us here who use CH will flip accounts (open, fulfill, close and repeat) to get the most bang for the buck. For the most part b1g1 w/FS (free shipping) is the way to go....

Re: Scrubs Complete Collection $65 @ walmart.com (FS to Store)

How much would it be if you purchased the seasons individually at 50% off? Would you be able to get every season this way? I am thinking about joining the Disney BD club, so would this be a way to...

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Well, you sure tested more than I did. I did a couple of pre-orders as well and the price didn't jump. So it is possibly the type of account.

I think the 801490 code is a better deal, for $4...

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I put in a couple and price didn't jump. The only one I remember was Red in BD was $20.97, which was weird because the DVD SE was about $2 more

Re: Rate my setup...

SVS may not be thousands but they are not cheap...range from about $500-$2000.

I would agree with you if I were to upgrade something the sub would be first on my list...btw nice set up.

Re: Target Media Prices (January 30 - February 5, 2011)

Why not join the Disney BD club? You'll get an average cost of just under $11 per disk and you don't have to go through the hassle of PM, waiting for deals and coupons.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

It was about a week before Inception dvd/BD release date. I picked up Inception BD as a buy one and got two dvds free with free shipping. I haven't seen a free shipping since.

EDIT: I thought it...

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I've noticed lately their Customer Service level has gone way up. They are easy to deal with and they are good about responding in a timely manner. I had two issues at the end of 2010 and both were...

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

^Not your imagination...

Roughly four years ago there would be new codes every week or two, with BOGO w/FS every couple of months.

Re: Has anyone just upgraded speakers? (Not talking complete system)

Here are a couple other options without a sub, and both are just under $100.

These are almost identical to the ones I've used (as mentioned before). Still use them (they are in our SUV) and have...

Not sure how much you want to spend but these are $150 for 2speakers and a sub. These will be better than TV speakers. ...

Re: Has anyone just upgraded speakers? (Not talking complete system)

In the past I've hooked up computer speakers to my tv. I had a 4.1 system and a set of bose computer speakers both powered. I agree the surround sound system is a little much for TV.

Re: Need recommendations for a receiver for my TV

I agree speakers should be the majority of your budget. Though depending on how much you are willing to spend on equipment over the next however long, 6 months, year(s).

If you do plan on...
