Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 16th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Just saw that Daria Nicolodi has died, and realized I haven't finalized my list. :(

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 16th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I watched 133 movies this year which is a record for me, but I wasn't able to follow or participate in the threads. I need to improve my time management.

Re: "Doctor Sleep" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

First time seeing it (watched the director's cut) and really liked it. Even at 3 hours it moved along nicely.

I'll also recommend Part 2 and Part 3 if you enjoyed 2. But attempt no landing on Phantasm Ravager.

Re: "Wolfen" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

Movie is really good so is Gregory Hines. I also love that era of NY with all of the urban decay.

Re: "Street Trash" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

I like to think the protagonist is Torgo from Manos: The Hands of Fate.

Re: "Dagon" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

I'm very "meh" on the movie.

The HD version looks really good though.

Re: "Spookies" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

Not a good movie but a fun bad one. The difference in quality of the special effects was really noticeable from the original footage and what they filmed later on.

Re: "Boardinghouse" Reviews/Discussion - 2020 Horror Challenge

I'm certain this movie was made just so the director could meet a bunch of hot, scantily-clad women.

I'm only 2 episodes in but so far there are only 2 that don't feel really thin. Small sample size though.
