Re: New WD 2.0TB drive: Not initialized, won't format

Re: New WD 2.0TB drive: Not initialized, won't format

I'm just copying now before I rely solely on that drive. Honestly, I'm still afraid of the drive. I bought a DSLR in February and this is the drive I want to use exclusively for saving my daily...

Re: New WD 2.0TB drive: Not initialized, won't format

So the other day I downloaded a program called acronis. I ran it today and it fixed (so far) the drive. It's recognized, and I'm copying...

Re: New WD 2.0TB drive: Not initialized, won't format

One thing I noticed...

I loaded up my BIOS, and drive 0 (Master) is blank, drive 1 (Slave) is blank, then my C is #2 (Master), then this drive is listed as #3 (Master)...does that matter?

New WD 2.0TB drive: Not initialized, won't format

I bought a WD Green 2TB hard drive to use as a backup drive. I was not going to install an OS on it. I turned my PC off, removed the 500GB drive I had, and replaced it with the 2TB. It wasn't...

Re: What camera tripod do I need?

Thanks, I'm saving up to get an L lens (100-400mm), the pics I've seen taken with that lens make my shot look like an old Polaroid shot.

Re: Verizon to implement $30 upgrade fee starting 4/22

I have unlimited data with Verizon (for 3 years now) and I won't switch carriers because I'd lose it. If Verizon does cancel the 'grandfather' clause (or whatever it's called) I'll do the switch...
