Re: What genre do you refuse to watch no matter how popular or well reviewed it is?

If the premise is intriguing, I'll likely give it a shot, regardless of genre. My tastes are all over the place. I'm 35 and I DVR General Hospital, Euphoria, City on a Hill, Survivor, Bar Rescue, The...

Re: How much time per day do you spend watching content on your paid streaming services? (No purchases)

I can go weeks without touching Netflix or Amazon. I try to watch some stuff every week but that doesn't always happen. Watched 4 episodes of Stranger Things when it came out, haven't gone back yet....

Re: Have you seen every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie at a movie theater?

All but Incredible Hulk in the theater. Usually within two weeks of release.

Re: Do you like self contained procedural-type episodes? (Yes/No)

Always prefer serialized shows. If it's a procedural, I prefer it to have some sort of overall arc as well, i.e. iZombie. Even Elementary tends to have a somewhat loose arc every season. But those...

Re: Riviera -- S: Julia Stiles, Lena Olin, Adrian Lester, Iwan Rheon

Season 1 was ok, not great. Watched it on the Ovation network. If they end up airing Season 2 I'll check it out.

Re: City on a Hill (Showtime) - S: Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge -- EP: Affleck, Damon -- Premieres 6/16/19

Enjoyed it. Wasn't amazing or anything but I'm in. But being from the Boston area, I was in regardless.

Re: Pose (FX) -- created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk

Wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. Looking forward to Season 2.

Re: The Chi (Showtime) -- S: Jason Mitchell; EP: Waithe, Common -- premieres 1/7/18

Another good episode. Underrated show. I admit I wasn't in love with Season 1, but Season 2 has been quite good. More people should be watching this.

Re: Fosse/Verdon (FX) -- limited series -- S: Sam Rockwell, Michelle Williams -- 4/9/19

Show was really good. Didn't know much about either of them but Verdon especially. They were both good but Michelle Williams was fantastic.

Re: Chernobyl (HBO mini series) S: Emily Watson, Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgard -- premieres 5/6/19

This is has been really good but also very dark/bleak/depressing. I was only 2 when it happened and it's not something I've ever really researched other than knowing the basic happenings, so it's...

Re: Fresh off the Boat (ABC) -- Season 5 Thread -- premieres 10/5/18

Friend of mine worked with her on that Dimension 404 show, said she was extremely difficult to work with.

Re: Is trying to watch a 22-25 episode season (1 hour drama) simply too much to commit to these days?

Overall, yes. Feel like 6-8 episodes is the sweet spot, 10 can work too. Even 13 feels a bit much now. For example, I watch the DC CW shows but by Feb/March I'm ready for them to end.
