Re: Game shows on DVD

Re: Game shows on DVD

Game shows on DVD

Since the demise of BCI, it appears the days of game shows on DVD may be over. Is anyone aware of any game show DVD's available, outside of The Match Game, Password, The Price is Right, and You Bet...

Actually, I found a good part of my collection at Big Lots. I collect classic movies, and found almost all the Astaire-Rogers movies, W.C. Fields, all the Busby Berkeley movies, a bunch of Greta...

Re: DVD Talk review of 'The Ghost and Mr. Chicken'

I'm wondering if you're not thinking of The Andy Griffith Show episode where Andy, Barney, and Gomer are in the haunted house, and the picture is watching them.

Re: Have the studios quit shipping overstock to Big Lots stores?

I'm with you. I want something tangible. I still have a CD collection as well as my DVD collection. I only have cable because I live in an apartment, and I refuse to get satellite radio.

Isn't it...

Re: Have the studios quit shipping overstock to Big Lots stores?

My apologies. I am new to the forum, and didn't realize there was a "store forum".

Have the studios quit shipping overstock to Big Lots stores?

I have picked up a substantial part of my classic movie collection from Big Lots. Until recently, I found something new to add on almost every trip. Of late, it is beginning to appear (at least...

Question concerning the wave of make to order DVD-R's

It appears the movie studios have decided that they are no longer going to release classic movies on pressed DVD's. It appears that Warner started this downturn, and Columbia, Universal, and MGM have...

Re: Partial stretching of 4:3 material using upscaling player

That's easy. I have standard cable, and when I just want to watch the news, etc., I really don't want them to be stretched across the screen. It automatically changes to 16:9 when playing anamorphic...

I have an Onkyo Upscaling DVD Player (DVD-SP406) hooked to a Sony Wega KV-30HS510 television using component video cables. This is a HTDV 1080i CRT display. My default display setting on the TV is...
