Re: "Slither" Reviews/Discussion - 2021 Horror Challenge

Honestly the more I watch this the more I actually hate it; lately I walk away from the film feeling short changed in some way that I can't quite put my finger on.

Re: "Road Games" Reviews/Discussion - 2021 Horror Challenge

This one never gets old for me; unlike so many other films I've watched on a regular basis. Keach and Curtis work well in this classic

Re: "Cat People" Reviews/Discussion - 2019 Horror Challenge

Kinda felt sorry for Irena. I mean she felt that if they got intimate after they were married she would transform into the cat faster. This "curse" drove a wedge into the relationship and Irena...

Re: "Videodrome" Reviews/Discussion - 2019 Horror Challenge

Definitely not Cronenberg's best work. I did like this, but to me it had some pacing issues that seemed to make the film seem longer than it actually was. Maybe it had something to do with the...

Re: "Lifeforce" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge

This was one of those films that I never gave a chance to from the films release. I finally decided to give it a shot with my undivided attention, and surprisingly I enjoyed the film more than I ever...

Re: "Theatrical Showing" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge: Bonus Day

Hellfest - I actually sat on the edge of my seat just to stay awake through the entire film. Granted there were 2 or possibly 3 scenes in the film that were decent enough, but I will have to pass on...

Hi guys and gals. Finally made it back for the annual challenge. I guess I do alright, but never seem to make it here for the trivia challenges...perhaps this year will be different and I'll have a...

Re: "Ghostwatch" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

My cats had some reactions to the cats noises on the video more than a reaction from me. Slow burner but misses the mark on scares.

Re: "Ghostwatch" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

Well, the host did say this is where it's all going to happen ...or perhaps not. So far it's not happening

Re: "The Fog" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

There ain't no fog bank out there....hey, there's a fog bank out there :) Friggin classic. I prefer this compared to the remake they did by far. A few big name actresses and actors in this. ...

Re: "Theatrical Showing" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge: Bonus Day

I would hold off on watching Jigsaw, and wait for a redbox rental. It brings nothing to the table that hasn't already been seen many times before, although I did like one of the deaths; it did...

Re: "The Initiation" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

Pretty sure the first time I watched this I felt that the hypnosis was going to trigger a split personality in Kelly. I had the impression that there were twins, but that one of them had died in the...

Re: "Messiah of Evil" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

Used the Alyxstarr link. What's so wrong with Synergy edition I don't think I've seen that one before ...or perhaps I have and don't realize it. Either way I'll probably watch it as well after I...

Re: "The Crazies" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

These Romero films have me convinced that my beliefs of how screwed up the government is at secrecy and cover ups as well as biological weapons are quite similar to those of his. He makes some very...

Re: "Hobgoblins" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

I loved it!! Now that being said; it must be pretty sad knowing that the peak of an actors career is wrestling around with stuffed creatures.

Re: "Alucarda" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

Combination of vampire and witchcraft/satanic film. Even the Nuns and priests weren't all that mentally balanced. Hard to say if I liked it or not

Re: "Dolls" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

Seems that pretty much everyone has covered everything that can be said about this film. All the characters get their just deserts by the end of the film. There are no "evil" dolls in the film,...

Re: "+1" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

I found this to be enjoyable. I pretty much had figured how the movie was going to play out in the end, but it definitely held my attention. Actor that played David looked very familiar so I had to...

Re: "Day of the Dead" Reviews/Discussion - 2017 Horror Challenge

This is actually my second favorite in the franchise. It may be because of Bub; not really sure though since the story is very solid. Order for me would be Dawn, Day, Night, Land, Diary and finally...
