Re: True Detective (S3E07) -- "The Final Country" -- 2/17/19

To be honest I think Dorff is at least as good if not better. Hope they don't go where I think they are going in final episode.

Re: Miracle Workers (TBS) S: Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni

I enjoyed but in the end God still needs to be God and I am not sure they showed any God-like capability in him

Re: More Star Trek TV projects (including Picard series) in development

I see a lot of people bashing Discovery but after the first 4 Episodes it has been quite excellent IMO, and Season 2 has been terrific. It is the best looking show on TV easily, and is quite...

Re: Homecoming (Amazon) S: Julia Roberts -- From the creator of Mr. Robot -- 11/2/18

Binged this today and quite enjoyed it. Not much actual mystery in it, but there was a lot of tension and the two timelines meshed well. Lots of interesting character touches that added a lot of...

Re: Counterpart (Starz) -- S: J.K. Simmons -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 12/9/18

Another fantastic episode. The way the plot is shaping up it looks like this will only be a two year arc, but it is such a great show

Re: HBO's Michael Jackson Documentary Leaving Neverland

Not sure it is moral superiority to think with at least 99% certainty that Jackson was a pedophile.

Re: Super Bowl LIII Commercial Discussion Thread

An ASMR TV commercial. I dug it but apparently some people have a very adverse reaction to ASMR. Liked the Hyundai commercial but that's about it for the others.

Re: True Detective (S3E05) -- "If You Have Ghosts" -- 2/3/19 (On Demand 2/1/19)

This season is definitely better than Season 1 though I am sort of unhappy I clicked on that picture though I have no idea how it could relate. Will stay out of threads until its over. But man this...

Re: The Masked Singer (FOX) -- celebrity singing game show

I watched the first couple and realized that I just dont know enough about any of these people to either guess, be surprised by or impressed by anyone on the show. Cool concept but the celeberties...

Re: Star Trek: Discovery (CBS All-Access) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 1/17/19

I think this may be viewed with some scorn, but this show is approaching the best Star Trek I have seen. It started very rough, but the last 8? episodes of last year and the first 3 of this year have...

Re: Travelers (Netflix) -- S: Eric McCormack -- Time Travel drama from EP of Stargate

Sucks. Really enjoyed the show, but not sure where they would have gone with season 4.

Re: The Good Doctor (ABC) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 9/24/18

I am still watching. I love his roommate. They made a great decision in bringing her back. I can fully believe an autistic person could be a great doctor but I struggle with Murphy. He comes across...

Re: The Orville (S2E05) -- "All the World Is Birthday Cake" -- 01/24/2019

Would we enjoy a hard sci fi version of Star Trek? With true alien species, lack of communication, etc...?

Re: True Detective (S3E04) -- "The Hour and the Day" -- 1/27/19

I think I might like this season better than Season 1. Im enjoying the three timeline approach. Season 1 just had so much acting firepower that we overlooked everything else except for the "boobs"

Re: Siren (Freeform) -- Series Thread -- Premieres 3/29/18

It is not great, eye rollingly predictable at points but somehow still effective. I liked Season 1 and will watch Season 2 just dont expect Breaking Bad

Re: Counterpart (Starz) -- S: J.K. Simmons -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 12/9/18

Guess I am the only one watching. Incredibly good episode today that explored the origins of the split world. Was so concise that I wonder if it started as a short story and that short story was...

Re: Counterpart (Starz) -- S: J.K. Simmons -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 12/9/18

The last episode really raised the bar on a show that had a very high bar to begin with. Brilliant stuff really.

Re: Who would you pick to direct this lost Kubrick screenplay (Burning Secret)

In my opinion yes. Especially BR. It was painful to sit through. One of the most pretentiously self important movies ever. And Arrival was just super dull with a completely obvious Nolan-esque twist...
