Re: TV on DVD* The Ninth Season Discussion Thread

I went to see if I could quote the post in hopes of saving you some work but the buttons are gone to quote it as well. Maybe report the post so that a mod can take a look and maybe fix?

Re: The 14th Annual DVDTalk Holiday Challenge (11/17 - 1/1)

That sounds like an awesome start to a new tradition! :)

I'm visiting my sister right now, and their tradition is to have a contest decorating gingerbread houses. I tied for second. My sister won,...

Re: The 14th Annual DVDTalk Holiday Challenge (11/17 - 1/1)

Today I taught 18 5-year-olds. By the time I got home, I was exhausted but needed to stay awake. I ended up watching the Pentatonix special for a second time even though I was not a fan of it. It's...

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?

Two codes today, one through the calendar, one through their FB page. Spectacular for 5 points, I think it was and Frost for 5 as well.

Re: The 14th Annual DVDTalk Holiday Challenge (11/17 - 1/1)

Wow...that's an awesome list and I am going to use it! :)

Talking about Hallmark movies, I just watched Coming Home for Christmas which stars Danica McKellar. It's basically a nicer, Christmasy...

Re: The 14th Annual DVDTalk Holiday Challenge (11/17 - 1/1)

I've been busier than usual this month for the challenge, but been enjoying watching Hallmark Channel movies. I've just been leaving the channel on and when I get a chance, watching the new movies.

Re: The 14th Annual DVDTalk Holiday Challenge (11/17 - 1/1)

I watched this a bit ago for the first time myself. Kind of felt like they were doing too much nudge nudge, wink wink, see this is where this line came from! type of thing.

I doubt I'd watch it...

Re: The Eighth Annual November Comedy Challenge *Discussion Thread* Nov 1-30, 2018

Finishing up the challenge with some episodes of "What's My Line?" I wish they aired them more often on GSN. Love the really old ones; so far tonight, they had Muhammad Ali and Sir Edmund Hilary on...

Re: The Eighth Annual November Comedy Challenge *Discussion Thread* Nov 1-30, 2018

Favorite movie...probably the best movie I saw this month was Mamma Mia. I watched with my sister and nieces because later that night, we went to a local school play of it. Was fun to compare the...

Re: The 14th Annual DVDTalk Holiday Challenge (11/17 - 1/1)

I don't know, while I agree Roseanne had good Halloween episodes, I was always partial to the Thanksgiving ones. 1) Shelley Winters. 2) reminds me of my own family holidays. :)

You beat me here! Just to add, it's Incredibles themed if that would catch anyone's interest.

Re: The 14th Annual DVDTalk Holiday Challenge (11/17 - 1/1)

I couldn't tell you for sure, but I suspect not as much as people who love the ballet would want. I think it's pretty prominent in 3 or 4 scenes and more background music for the rest. There are 2...

Re: The 14th Annual DVDTalk Holiday Challenge (11/17 - 1/1)

I just got back from seeing The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. While I wouldn't say the plot is great, it was a fun film to watch. It was beautiful to watch. The costumes and the background both...

Re: The Eighth Annual November Comedy Challenge *Discussion Thread* Nov 1-30, 2018

I'd agree with most of this. Saw it in the theater when it came out and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't near as good as the original. Also, watching the original, they kind of changed a few things so...
