I would definitely say the Evil Deads are closer than Zombie movies

There's some damnright scary moments in some of the evil dead movies and plenty of action

I don't believe comedies in the mix...

Proper action, but also proper scary atmospheric horror

David Spade does have a good list, but quite a few are when they were past their prime, still very hot, but not prime prime E.g. Pamela Anderson 2006, not 90s Pam, Heather Locklear and Carmen Electra...
