Re: 10th Annual Drive-in/Exploitation/B-movie Challenge. April 1-30, 2019

Started off the challenge with Andy Milligan's Man with 2 Heads. Brutal camera work and editing, but the lead was actually pretty good - Denis DeMarne.

Re: 10th Annual Drive-in/Exploitation/B-movie Challenge. April 1-30, 2019

I was lucky enough to see Its Alive at the drive in at the tender age of 9. I still remember the opening scene in the hospital. It scared me silly

[QUOTE=Undeadcow;13442547]Merge 'Recently Deceased' into Just One Check

The recently Deceased list was an issue this year. My "tweak" of Undeadcow's recommendation is to only include deceased...

Great challenge as always. Thanks to Chad and everyone who participated. I dragged myself to the finish line this year, but completed 108 films with 57 first time watches.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

Another word of caution:

Scream Factory has a new blu ray release for The Bride, so i thought i would check it out on amazon prime.

I was thinking that 30 years plus time would be kinder to...

i saw The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue at the drive in with my parents back in the 70s. I was around 9 years old and it scared me so much i still remember specific scenes and its impact on me.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

yes I watched it earlier this month and really enjoyed it. Kane is very honest and open about his early childhood and the accidental fire stunt. Recommended.

Re: "The Lost Boys" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge

I like the lost boys. I am not in love with it. It is an entertaining film and excellent acting, but not a favorite vampire interpretation of mine.

Re: "Anthropophagous" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge

I did a double feature last night of Anthropophagus and Absurd. Both films are slow between the 30 min and 1 hour marks, but still sleazy fun. I actually like Absurd better than Anthro due to the...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

Trilogy of Terror is a great Dan Curtis film. The sequel, Trilogy of Terror 2 made in the 1990s is just as good. Check it out on youtube. It desperately needs a blu ray treatment.

Re: "Tenebre" Reviews/Discussion - 2018 Horror Challenge

Multiple viewings of this classic. The music, like Halloween 1978, is critical. Without this awesome music we would have an average giallo in my opinion. The final killings are over the top cheese.
