Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015, D: Unknown, S: Unknown)

Yeah, can the likes of completely gone people like yourself just shut the fuck, know your role, and fucking act accordingly?

Re: Skyfall (Mendes, 2012) The Double-O Reviews Thread

The system hasn't been fucked, I just tend to skip over most your posts ever since your statement this June that Prometheus was worse than Alien Resurrection and almost on par with Alien VS...

Re: Skyfall (Mendes, 2012) The Double-O Reviews Thread

Re: Skyfall (Mendes, 2012) The Double-O Reviews Thread

No it wasn't. It simply crashed into a brick wall. Racers flip over cars all the time that are then still salvageable. The cost to fix up and give the Martin a new paint job must be chump change for...

Re: Spielberg's Abe Lincoln Biopic - news, rumors, castings...

Saw the movie this morning. The more I think over it the more I'm liking it. Across the board some of the best performances Spielberg has ever gotten from his actors. Terrific, understated direction...

Re: Favorite Bond Film?

No it isn't.

Ever see The Guns of Navarone? Scarface? King Solomon's Mines? The Secret of the Incas? The Adventures of Robin Hood? Hell, both Ben Hur's including The Tale of the Christ?

Re: Django Unchained -- D: Quentin Tarantino S: Foxx, DiCaprio, Waltz -- 12/25/12

The mainstream never goes out of their way to see a Martin Scorsese film simply because it's Marty.

Never have. Never will.

JoeMainstream6Pack doesn't give two shits about who is directing or...

Re: Bad behavior on commentary tracks

Kurt Russell is an alcoholic (wouldn't you be if you were him despite his iconic roles?) so any commentary where he is involved will at least divulge some juicy bits about the film that you wouldn't...

Re: Skyfall (Mendes, 2012) The Double-O Reviews Thread

Dude, as far as very recent beautifully shot films you could have gone for something like Malick's THE TREE OF LIFE.

Dark Shadows?? Jesus fuck..

Re: Seijun Suzuki appreciation thread

This thread will be dead by tomorrow but if it gets one or two people to put a flick into their Netflix queue then this thread will have been worth it.

Re: Favorite Bond Film?

It's a classic Bond cue that any true long-time fan knows. It might be a little harder to incorporate into these harder-edged Craig Bonds but trust me, even if any of these recent ones had, out of...

Re: Jurassic Park being rereleased in 3D 7/19/13

3D is not going to make this decent but still disappointing film any better.

Dr. Alan Grant is still going to be fucking dull as dirt.

Re: Skyfall (Mendes, 2012) The Double-O Reviews Thread

Please stop with all this fucking mock outrage over shit that nobody ever notices ever unless you're going out of your way to actually find it. Jesus fucking Christ.

Re: Slant Magazine : The 100 Best Films of the 1990s

Hmm, so they agree with Marty Scorsese on the #1. Good on them, it's not too shabby a list.

All you Malick haters, seriously, stick to Transformers flicks..

Re: Favorite Bond Film?

As for the poll I'm with Connery, Craig and Llewelyn. From Russia With Love is the best Bond of them all. Just an ace espionage film from top to bottom.

Re: Do you think we'll see Blofeld return to Bond series?

No to Blofeld but I'd like to see Mr. White in one of the next ones if just for a cameo. It's a little odd how in Quantum he attempts a hit on M, Bond is hellbent on exacting revenge, then he just...

re: Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) (D: Bay; S: Wahlberg, Peltz, Grammer)

Maybe you haven't been keeping up with current events but Wahlberg no longer models underwear.
