Re: What Are You Reading? (February 2019)

I liked the tv series, a lot. Maybe not loved, but I really, really, liked it. I've only read the first couple chapters of the first book and then started something else, but I will get back to it.

Re: Jerry Pournelle, R.I.P.

Re: What keeps you from going to the movie theater or going more often?

It's very difficult for me to sit through an entire movie without wanting to get up for a little while and do something else and then come back to it, no matter how much I like it. So watching at...

Re: U2 -- "Songs of Innocence" -- New album released for free on iTunes -- 9/9/2014

I'll believe that when I see it. The current album, when it was still being call Songs of Ascent was supposed to come out about a year or so after NLOTH.

EDIT: Got album title wrong.

Re: U2 -- "Songs of Innocence" -- New album released for free on iTunes -- 9/9/2014

Actually, Pop has really grown on me over the years. I really, really like, "If God Will Send His Angels." I also like Discoteque, Gone, and Wake Up Dead Man.

Now that I'm back in a U2 mood, I'm...

Re: Whiteheart touring for the first time in 18 years

Those first three albums (of which Vital Signs is one) were not that good. Everything after, with lead singer Rick Florian, was much better.
